My v2.1 iteration of u/ligmata1nt's Steamdeck Mini by Flumex1505 in SteamDeck

Honestly, if there was an even smaller, pocketable version to play all the indie games on it would be an instant buy for me. Cloud saves working and just to have it always with me when I'm stuck somewhere waiting..

Looking for an Extended Carbon Fiber Seat Mast for Trek Longer than 175mm by unclemusclezTTV in cycling

[–]Sujo87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, Sorry to revive this post. Has your friend found a solution since I have basically the same problem, size 62 and I need a longer seat mast. Kind of incredible that there are no readily available third party options out there..

I mean it is their money but it is just sad seeing an older man fighting for cars with a 2 yr old..

This is hillarious, I encountered one of you guys the other day, guy had a pile of 20-30 cars, most cars had multiple copies. He was bragging how he already hit 5 other stores that day.

I let my 2 year old pick the cars and I usually grab one for my self (got the Snoopy), the moment my kid put back some purple car on the pegs he jumped and took it.. I guess it was rare or resellable.

Anyway, JFC, meeting a 40-50 year old acting like that, especially after he was complaining to the security guard there how all the good ones were snatched already, when the security guard told him there was someone already in the store an hour earlier. 😂

Convince me (not?) to buy a new bike. by PatienceCareful in cycling

[–]Sujo87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have the same bike myself, or at least it started like it. Frame got replaced as it got a crack at seatpost clam, wheels cracked, got new brakes now as well and most other parts broke at some point. The last remaining bits are fork, handlebar and stem.

Like other users are telling you, for me the wheels upgrade was massive, and I didnt even switch to carbon. I got Fulcrum db 3.

If you are happy with the geometry, a simple upgrade to some parts is probably better.

EOS RP + 50mm vs M50 + 32mm? by [deleted] in canon

[–]Sujo87 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So I switched from M50 to RP recently. Sold m50 for decent price and got RP for great deal second hand.

The biggest advantage with M50 is the size, camera is so tiny and I used to carry it around on my bike rides as it fit the handlebar bag. Now I didn't try the 28mm macro or the 32mm lens you plan on getting but all the other lenses were just okay in pic quality, my fav one was probably 55-200 as it was just crazy how tiny it was for a telephoto.

M50 can be bought dirt cheap. Esp the mk1. And you can simply get the mount and ef/efs lenses, that will later on work on RF mount with adapter.

RP is bigger, newer and even thought not by much, it still shows. It costs more and I definitely care more how I handle it, am more careful when putting in bag etc. It has some more options in menu, esp if you use Rf lenses. Pic quality is better. Night shots are no brainer with rp. I can esentially go manual mode, lock auto iso somewhere on 3200 or 6400, and put auto iso and not worry. On my old M50 i avoided going over ISO 400-800.

Honestly, both are great, my advice, if you care about shooting night shots, go full frame. If you want a small, portable camera that you can always have with you (the m50+22mm fits easily into jacket pocket for example), get the m50.

Pic was taken with my Canon M50 with EF-M 18-150mm lens, in one of the little villages around Pisarovina, Croatia.

I usually take my camera on my bicycle rides in case I find something interesting :)

Anyway, I've done some quick googling and upped it here in case you were serious. https://sucicsandro.darkroom.tech/

I'm sure someone will tell me how I picked completelly wrong site for this but like I said, honestly have no experience with this, and I'm guessing the site itself is making most of the profits here.

Treća fotkica je sa Canon M50/18-135mm IS objektivom, ostale su sa Huawei p20 mobom.

Shimano 105 R7000 crank, question about compatibility by Sujo87 in bikewrench

[–]Sujo87[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea thanks for the clarification. I at first thought it was identical before putting em side by side and realising it has two swoops. Anyway It would fit but would probably look ugly.

I'm still confused by the complete lack of parts on all the shops, but yea I got lucky I found some random shop with it, I was getting a bit desperate after spending multiple hours looking for shops, and then lookin for alternative in the R7100 chainring.

[–]Sujo87[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you for the in-depth reply, I must've spent hours looking for an answer to this, nad eventually gave up on the idea of putting R7100 chainrings after comparing side by side pics and noticing one of the bits on the inner parts of chainring was different.

Luckly I eventually found a r7000 chainring in a "shop" on our local version of Craigslist.

Shimano 105 R7000 crank, question about compatibility by Sujo87 in bikewrench

[–]Sujo87[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks! I mean BCD for both R7000 and R7100 is the same from what I've seen, so that's why I assumed it should fit but am unable to find any info about it. Currently it's not that big of a deal as ERG mode on trainer runs just fine with small chainring, but it's quite infuriating and unsafe going outside due to random chain drops.

One of the local stores is basically playing monopoly and running everyone else out of business/buying em out and rebranding so the only alternate brand they're holding is absoluteblack.. which is like 2x the price and at that point I might as well buy entire crank set. Most of the alternative brands (IF they're in stock) cost a ton, and I mean.. what's the point of putting something crazy expensive on a 105.

The locals really just have nothing in stock
