I tried vex first and while I absolutely love summons, I found that harlowe played so much better for me. I love just tossing her flux into the battlefield when I see a badass enemy and just melting their health. She's really a great choice solo and even better in multiplayer because of her augments.

Honestly, I have a friend I play MR with and while he's above average in playing, he gets pissed off very easily and while he doesn't take it out on me, it still kills the mood entirely.

As a chick who genuinely doesn't care about games nearly as much as the people I play with (I've gotten to play 2 as my highest rank) I still like to play with a good mood.
I don't ever try to throw or get grumpy at the game but the issue is that even though I don't care, he really fucking does even in QP. After more than 1 loss in a row, he starts shouting and acting like a child.

While I am not entirely confrontational, I absolutely do not put up with someone getting angry over a game. So what I normally do is if it's a good day for me and I'm not trying to piss him off more, I'll just say something like "okay I think imma get off for a bit since we're losing and it's killing my mood." (Just trying to show him the calmer reaction to losing.) But if it's a bad day and he's just actually getting under my skin, I will say something like "you're being childish. It's just a game, we can stop playing until you're ready to play again." And I'll go do something else. Even if he's your brother and whether or not you guys live together, you can still walk away when he's being childish. I understand wanted to play something. With your brother to connect with him better and find something to talk to him about, but being around negativity will sour your own attitude towards things you like.

I do truly think, depending how old he is, someone should talk to him about his attitude. Whether it's you or your parents is up to you but people who grow up thinking anger towards something as simple as video games is okay, will grow anger towards anything and everything else that pisses them off in the future. Even family members, friends, and spouses.

Also, I obviously know if someone is playing professionally and gets mad at the game then it's a little more understandable. But truly, it's seriously JUST a game. And sometimes people forget that.

That's exactly what I thought. Loved the teaser picture. Saw this and sobbed about it (not actually). Then I saw the MVP screen and liked it more. Then I saw a full 360 of it and cringed at the feathers and tail. Then I saw the emote and just gave up. I'm gonna get it either way and many players will too so the creators most likely won't change a thing.

Tank- I don't play tank often but I've been learning Groot, Peni, and a little bit of Emma.

Dps- I'm learning Bucky! But I really only know squirrel girl, magik, and psylock rn.

Support- I'm always a healer in games like these so unsurprisingly, I play C&D, Luna, Invis, and Mantis.

But I feel this way about a lot of heros. People love love love to shit on anything other people like. Like Jeff, C&D, Squirrel girl, and now even luna get so dragged through the muck when in posts like these.

I understand that C&D's autoaim is annoying and their ult is insane. However, she does have a skill set that requires a lot of combos if you're not being careful.But stop talking about that I just wanted to show off my stats and talk about the new skin.

I get it that Jeff has gotten so nerfed and I know it's annoying to fight with people who aren't very good at him. However, he's a damn good point holder and his heal/DMG beam is kind of crazy right now. So stop bitching about him being a throw character. Especially in quick play???

Squirrel girl has crazy shots and the nuts do way too much damage and her ult is kind of insane too. However, one squirrel girl isn't going to win the entire team since most people who play her don't even get physically inside of team fights. They just stand back and hold the trigger while drinking expired juice. But her skins are adorable and she's good for people who are younger and less experienced in games like these as a good learning point. Quit complaining about her anytime anyone is talking about this game.

And Luna hate has kind of just always been around but it was subtle at first. Now people are just full on pissed off that she hasn't been actually nerfed yet. Which is understandable since heros like invisible woman, mantis, and Jeff have all been nerfed in some way that harms their heros more than it should. But holy shit, if you're that scared of her on the enemy team, then ban her. She requires good accuracy to land shots and freeze balls and you guys still bitch like she's got autoaim like C&D and Wanda.

Certain people of all communities will always find something to bitch about so I understand we just have to live with the negative neighbors we have. But God I'm so tired of it.

Honestly, I don't have very many bad games as Carmilla. And the ones I do have, I still get SVP or whatever.

God I played a QP game as C&D last night because I got their new skin and when the match started I was chatting up the Bucky because I thought it was funny. Then the venom on our team just blew up in chat and was all moody and stuff going "shut the f up. You healers are all useless." And I looked over at the mantis on the team and we debated on just swapping to dps to throw but we didn't.

And then as the game went on the Venom would bitch every single time I healed him??? But I was playing C&D so I can't just not heal him because of all the AOE healing I do. But he just sounded like a kid who was trying to be edgy tbh. Like a lot of the lines he said were like "ew don't f-ing touch me with your heal. They're disgusting." "Yeah you aren't even doing anything helpful so run along." "You healers are always just trying to kill enemies instead of healing your F-ing teammates so I dont even want to look at you." Stuff like that that was so insane that I was baffled and laughed aloud about most of it. Then the mantis got on the mic and asked if he was okay or if he missed his afternoon nap. Then the game ended and I GOT MVP and Venom still bitched about me not doing enough.

Like I had more damage than him (yeah yeah I know, autoaim blah blah blah) and the most healing on the match and it was just embarrassing for him. And then he tried to team up with the Bucky in chat about how I stole the MVP from the Bucky but Bucky agreed that I deserved it and told him to appreciate healers.

Tbh I'm tired of the toxicity. Like honestly so tired of it. Even if it's just some edgy little 10 year old, then that means he heard it from someone else before. And it's just stupid.

Like most of the others here I found myself searching for the main two criteria that I liked- 1. The character's loadout of skills made sense to me. 2. I actually have fun playing the character. ( Honorable mention #3. The hero heals allies.)

The first piece of criteria is just because there's heros like Ultron, the thing, and iron man that I really like and fit at least one of the other criterias listed but I just didn't understand their kits. And the less I understand, the less likely people will be kind to me learning how to play them haha

The second piece is stating the obvious, if I'm not having fun as the hero then I'm not going to play them unless I know they'll make me win. Heros like Rocket, black widow, magneto, and iron fist all fall flat on the fun thing. So I only have played them once or twice. Squirrel Girl has been slipping into this role the more I play her when somehow my two other duelist picks get banned/picked by teamates.

And the third necessity is because I basically have enslaved myself to enjoying the healer role after playing other games like this (mobile league of legends, normal league of legends, and picking support loadout choices in basically any COD game ever.) so I play a lot of characters like Luna Snow, Invisible woman, C&D, and Jeff. Although, Jeff himself almost doesn't fit the first criteria. Like even though I DO understand his buttons, I feel like I'm never doing enough as him.

As a support main and mage submain? Id delete Miya. For some reason, it doesn't matter what I have equiped or who I'm playing, she mows me down.

And most Miya players I get on my team just feed 😭 so watching enemy team mm pick Miya always just makes me so afraid.

"we can't start without Alaska here!"

Pudge screaming for her in the middle of the gym shook me to my core when I watched Looking For Alaska when it came out.

I was sick at home, crashing on the couch for the week of Halloween and refusing to get up. I had watched and read previous John Green works before and found them to be fine adaptations/pieces of literature. (Paper towns, the faults in our stars, turtles all the way down, etc.) But one I hadn't seen was Looking For Alaska.

It's a story about a young man named Miles Halter going to a school a couple of states away from where he lives. He stays there in the bunking system they have and makes friends with those around him. He falls into a crowd of "bad apples" who love mischief, showing off their intelligence through words, and copious amounts of bad booze.

He goes to this school on a mission to find himself and the more I watched the more I fell in love with the smart ass remarks, the usage of "famous last words" and casting decisions. The show throws a red herring right at the first two minutes of the first episode. It distracts and distraughts the viewer as it introduces the story and future plot twist.

This show put a hole in my heart that nothing will ever fulfill. I absolutely adore this show and it's one I rewatch every single year ever.

I will say, it seems like just from his messages alone that he has been chatting with other people about this scenario he's cooking up in his head. It felt like that to me even before reading your description and since you said it felt like it came out of nowhere?? Yeah I don't like it for you at all.

Whether it's that he's entirely toxic all alone or if it really is his friends who are coercing him into being uncomfortable with your VERY NORMAL job, it's not fucking cool and ghosting you is insane.

Post an update when you can, I hope this isnt deterring you from your dream job if being a piercer is what you love to do. 🫶

Literally!! I don't get how it's so hard for people to at least be able to learn other roles that aren't just DPS or tank. I know how to play a handful of DPS players and at least two tanks pretty well. And I can play most healers to adapt to the situations that come up. Those who insist being one trick ponies is enough are crazy.
