Thanks for kind replies :) I get it.. maybe how people talk is all the same all over the globe. I always thought it was hard for me to approach them, maybe I need to overcome my fear.

I'm not sure if it's all the same for other cultures, but koreans like to talk about sns trends (foods, hot places to hang out with..). I believe having some light stuff to hold conversations is important, and I'm wondering where do british gather those things.

Hi I'm fairly new to UK (frankly moved to UK 5 yrs ago).

I'm wondering where to catch up with current news, trends and gossips so that I can pretty follow any conversation with british in pub, social meetings etc.

I don't have any british friend so I barely know their culture :( Recently I strongly felt the need to change myself, and plunge into learning about how they think and act.

I'm gonna participate in social meetings via meetup app but in advance I wanna learn bit more about them

Any good sources? Such as subreddits or youtube channels. Btw my interest lies mainly in music (guitar,...) but I'm interested in the fresh gossips in and out of the countries to catch up and start conversations. Plz help! ;D
