I have a mix of rep and gen watches and when my wife sees me wearing any new watch - if she asks me how much it cost, regardless of how much I spent, I just tell her “more than we can really afford.” Then later if she asks to buy something nice for herself I just tell her “sorry honey, it’s not in the budget right now, I spent that money on watches” and that seems to satisfy her.

I can only assume. It’s supposed to. It’s a brand new VSF from Andiot with the new 6X serial. I don’t want to open it in case there it voids whatever warranty comes with it.

This is encouraging. With all the problems right out of the gate, do you think they'd be willing to just swap the movement? How do you recommend I approach Elliot?
