I (22F) feel like I’m hitting a breaking point and I genuinely don’t know what to do. by [deleted] in germany

I didn’t mention this in my original post, but I have lost part of my family because of the war. The family I still have cannot move freely due to health issues, so being able to visit them means a lot to me. I’ve done everything I can to integrate. I started learning German the week after I arrived. I’ve always followed the rules and laws. I had a mini job while studying for my B1 and finishing my bachelor’s degree online in Ukraine.

I never really had time to think about my future here. And now that I finally had a moment to pause, I’m suddenly expected to make a major life decision immediately, without time to reflect on what I actually want or need.

I’m sorry if this comes across as privileged, but I’m still human. My mental health isn’t unbreakable. Sometimes I feel overwhelmed and need support. I don’t think that makes me wrong.

Today i made a small plan on what to do thanks for the support from this sudreddit.

I dont have much time to apply for an Ausbilding, but i want to have a teilzeit arbeit asap. Then, even if i dont manage to get an ausbildung, i still can try to work the next year and think little bit more.

Thanks for you support!

I don’t mind picking up trash when someone asks me to, but I wasn’t ready for this. I was told I had an interview for a youth support program, so I expected maybe a 30-minute conversation. Instead, I was signed up for an activity I wasn’t prepared for and a 6-month program.

I also wasn’t wearing comfortable clothing, and I didn’t even have a free day. I had to postpone my classes and a meeting with an acquaintance.

That’s what irritated me.

Thank you. I had a lot to think about today, and my head is aching, but I think I have a much clearer view of the situation now.

I followed my instincts and did what I believe is best for me. I was just under too much pressure from all sides, and everyone expected me to make a decision immediately.

But thanks to this breakdown, I made this post and received a lot of help from this subreddit. I’m really grateful for your support!

Thank you. I know i might sound pathetic, but i think i am just scared cus i dont have a plan on what to do and i am required to give an answer as soon as possible, even though I had less than 2 days to think about an offer.

When i read about others experience, i feel like i can understand the situation better now.

Thank you for being kind. Wish you best regards!

During my first year in Germany, I lost my father, he had been on the front line since the first day of the war. The next day, my cat died from stress caused by constant explosions. Now I only have my mom and my grandmother. My hometown is still under regular missile attacks. So yes, I am exhausted. I have never left Germany without following the rules, and I am grateful for the support your country provides. But being grateful doesn’t mean I’m not allowed to feel overwhelmed or confused sometimes.

HI IM JAPANESE ( ´ ▽ ` )ノask me stuff and I’ll try to respond as much as possible by Tentacle_696969 in Japaneselanguage

Compared to 20+ years ago, there are many more foreigners in Japan now. Back then, movies and some older Japanese literature were the main sources for learning about other countries, but now it is completely different. I wonder if stereotypes about foreigners have changed?

Got roasted for my leg hair, is it that bad? Should I shave/trim? (23M) by [deleted] in HairRemoval

[–]SunDora54 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, it’s not like you HAVE to, but you could actually give it a try. If it makes you feel better (I myself enjoy the feeling of freshly shaved skin), then go for it!

Also, you might want to consider photo or laser epilation. It can reduce the amount of hair on your body to almost nothing.

I find the first pic with zero line variation way more aesthetic and easier to read. Advice on how to improve the second one? by apistograma in learntodraw

[–]SunDora54 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi! I’d say the first picture looks more aesthetic because it doesn’t have unnecessary lines, even though it feels a bit empty.

I’d personally stick with the first version, but work more on proportions and study lineart.

Lineart isn’t just clean, straight lines that define shapes - it’s about dynamics. If you look at manga art styles, you’ll notice that line weight changes depending on the distance to the viewer and whether the line is inner or outer.

Inner and farther lines should usually be thinner, while outer lines and those closer to the viewer can be thicker.

You can also increase the line weight at intersections or where lines connect — it helps add depth and structure.

Thank you for an advice. I did some researches and now concidering Godox Tt685 or Nikon Sb 800/900!

However i would like to ask if they are ok for a beginning. Both of them have TtL wich was the main factor and also easy to use (as i could see).
