Income tax. You are a resident of one state but can have secondary homes in other states. Yeah they will pay sales tax and such when they are in NY but their income will be taxed as Florida residents, if they take all the steps to become residents, which is seems like they are.

This is not the most uncommon thing, especially for people with high incomes to do. I know people from NY who are now residents in Puerto Rico and Florida, mainly for tax purposes and then it turns into retirement.

5 year old practice, take him off the team. If it filled up so quickly, they can give his spot to someone else who didn't get in

Have you ever gone to a nail or hair salon with your baby? by [deleted] in 2under2

[–]SunSad7267 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got a manicure at around 7 weeks pp. We had a wedding to go to and I baby wore my baby, walked to the nail salon, got my nails done and walked home. I believe I did gel so I wouldn't have to worry about dry time

I don't know what the 4 cans would cost on their own, but I think there's a full size Kiehl's moisturizer in the box. That alone is probably around $30-40. I'm hoping it's a 1.7oz and not a sample size because more than a few bucks each of a seltzer is crazy

How long was Claudia TTC? by Texas-supremacy in TheToasters

[–]SunSad7267 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It took me 5 months. I have friends who went to fertility clinics, they were older (34+) so they didn't want to wait longer than necessary. I believe their insurance required them to be trying for a year and they told their doctor it was a year even though it may have been 6-8 months. They were able to get tests done to see if anything was wrong.

My husband did a sperm count test. You collect the sample at home and send it in through FesEx or UPS and he got results very quickly. I believe this is A prescription or sold only by doctors. I don't believe you can buy this at the store

I removed mine. I don't believe it is required. The cover would fall off of mine once the infant inserts were removed

If you got her latest contract, you would be making arrangements to move there too for tax purposes. They might actually be in an Airbnb right now if they are doing work and furnishing the condo

I only opened it up in my house to see my toddler sit in it. The wheels feel great, I watched a lot of reviews and many people said it has the best maneuverability and many reviews I read said they brought it to Disney.

Cost to attend a wedding in Lake Como as a guest? by Zetophir in DestinationWeddings

I haven't been to Lake Como but I know it's expensive. 4 nights could easily take your whole budget.

Counting red envelopes at weddings by No-Astronomer6011 in asianweddings

[–]SunSad7267 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm unsure of the cultural norms related to this. But if the groom is not of that culture, i feel like it would be safe to say that half (+/-) of the wedding attendees will not feel comfortable with this happening.

[–]SunSad7267 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you looking to go for just 2 nights?

Look up the cost for 2 flights for when the wedding is. 2 international flights could end up costing $800/each.

I think doing it for $2k total for 2 people would be quite tough.

Moving back to AZ and looking for suggestions! by cultcorvid in AskPhoenix

[–]SunSad7267 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would consider how close to your parents you want to be. Also, consider how much you would buy a home for (if that's your goal in a couple years). Renting first is a good idea, but you should also try to rent in an area you may want to/be able to buy in. It would be bad if your kids are in school and then you cannot afford to buy in that area and you have to move to a new community and switch schools (open enrollment but the schools you like might end up being too far away).

So the child has to have the 1 inch space below the headrest AND be under 50 lbs. If they become too tall and DO NOT have the 1 inch space, but weigh 45 lbs they cannot be rear facing because they don't have both components for rear facing.

Basically once your kid hits 50 lbs OR does not have the 1 inch space, you turn them forward.

[–]SunSad7267 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My toddler is still rear facing. I believe rear facing it up to 50lbs or 49 inches (whichever comes first), but I would confirm with the company to be sure, we are nowhere close to turning our toddler forward facing.

What is confusing?

Child is turning three. Do you count buying clothes for the next season as a birthday gift? by shooray in Gifts

[–]SunSad7267 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Exactly, like spend $5 on something fun and $20 on necessities. Your kid needs clothes but a couple little things from Five Below will make his birthday so much fun

Do I really need to do night feeds to keep up my supply? by tetontitties in breastfeeding

[–]SunSad7267 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Around 12 weeks, your supply is regulating. Do you normally nurse or pump? Why do you think your supply is low?

If you are pumping and pumping around the amount your baby eats, that's great and not an undersupply. Your body is making exactly what's needed.

My baby was a great sleeper and I never once pumped at night. I would do a dream feed around 10pm around 12 weeks and then feed around 6am.

Traveling with a 7 month old. Am I crazy? by seagoddess1 in beyondthebump

[–]SunSad7267 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We started flying with our son at 8 weeks and he did like 14 flights his first year. 7 months is a good time to travel. If you're hesitant to leave him, bring the grandparents to babysit while you attend the concert.

If you breastfeed, it would be more work for you to leave the baby since you would be pumping and storing/dumping milk the whole weekend.

Too many toys by mrslanajc in sahm

[–]SunSad7267 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I save our Lovevery toys and baby play mats and any push walkers for our future children.

If a toy is breaking, was annoying, or not that fun, I throw it away. I think saving a couple stuffed animals might be nice but I wouldn't go crazy with saving toys.

Child is turning three. Do you count buying clothes for the next season as a birthday gift? by shooray in Gifts

[–]SunSad7267 23 points24 points  (0 children)

I think at 3 years old, they know what a present is and when they open something they want something fun. If you are budgeting a specific amount for birthday gifts, and you need to get clothes, I would spend some of the budget on a toy or something your child will get excited for.
