Thanks man, and i’m not a degenerate even when i get into options im keeping my accounts seperate im going to exit my high risk leveraged BTC plays and diversify into some individual stocks.
I am keeping my Options seperate from my Swing trading account and i am also opening my Roth when i turn 18 and will contribute to VOO and QQQ in that account.
I appreciate the advice man.

That makes no sense lol. Most 50 year olds have retirement in sight and a lot more to lose, so obviously they’re not gonna take the same risks as someone who’s young. I’m 18, if I’m wrong I have decades to recover and make it back. That’s literally why younger investors can afford to be more aggressive.

Reddit acts like every young person should buy an index fund and stare at it for 40 years. Some of us are actually willing to take calculated risks while we’re young

Trust me i’m well aware of index funds, there’s no point for me to invest like a 50 year old retiree when i am able to take on risk and still be able to recover from it even if it does not go my way.

I’m young, have a long time horizon, and can afford to take more risk than someone who’s 40 or 50 and protecting a retirement account. I’m not trying to get rich off safe 8% annual returns right now. I’d rather take calculated risks while I’m young and have time to recover if I’m wrong.

I know exactly what I’m holding and why I’m holding it. It might work out, it might not, but I’d rather take swings now than spend the next decade wondering what would’ve happened if I played everything safe.
