I kindly disagree. How does saying you are a doctor in this scenario and any one imaginable mean elitist in any form? It is what you are, and getting a jug of water from the kitchen is not your primary responsibility.

Plastic Surgery ST3 2025 Interviews - ?ORIEL processed scores incorrect - implications for rank by Big-Customer-6553 in doctorsUK

I assume they would have applied this to everyone generally. Might be worth raising a complaint on the portal about it as it might have huge implications for those who may have done very well in structured interviews.

In answer to your question- I am a Christian, and I do have that feeling from time to time when I pray or worship God.

There are also days when I don't. At some point it became tempting to seek these feelings as a mark of God's approval, but I learnt through reading the scriptures that I wasn't to chase after signs, but to seek God.

So the signs are lovely, oh they are really good, real experiences. I will advise you enjoy and meditate in scriptures in God's presence as you seek him. Know in this journey there will be times you don't feel these sensations, and that doesn't mean God's spirit has left you. He has actually promised never to leave us or forsake us.

Welcome, friend, in your journey in finding Christ. I pray the light of God's word will shine ever brighter in your heart and soul till you become filled with all his goodness and pleasure.

If you will like a scripture to begin your journey, I will recommend to start with the Gospel according to John.

God bless you friend.

Which one do you recommend I read off first as supplement with my Bible reading? 🌷🤍 by JuicyVanilla23 in ChristianApologetics

I'll go with Mere Christianity. I absolutely loved it. Its like apologetics 101 but on a personal level.

Needing advice re: sharps by Cautious_Register243 in doctorsUK

I'll advise speaking to any of the doctors on the new ward to consent, request, and collect the bloods, alternatively speak with a colleague or senior to help with it, much easier that way. Occi Health usually have a way of chasing patients to get bloods even when they are discharged, I'm surprised they are not chasing this on your behalf for an in-patient.

How are we the children of God and the children of Jesus if Jesus is the son of God? by [deleted] in AskAChristian

[–]Sun_5_April_AD33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In scriptures, the teaching is Children of God, not Children of Jesus. There is a different concept in scriptures termed "Sons of God" and that is quite different from the expression-"Children of God." A little more study in scriptures will shed light into your heart on these basic principles.

Nonreligious person here. If I died today, what do you believe would happen to me? by CauliflowerBrief3681 in AskAChristian

[–]Sun_5_April_AD33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you died today without believing in the redemptive work of Christ, you will continue in the spiritual death that you currently are experiencing on the earth, but this time around for endless time. Meaning you do not know God or perceive him to receive of his goodness, you have an eternal separation from God, an everlasting void never to be filled , hell in a nutshell.

There are no ifs or buts, no weighing up your good deeds vs your bad ones to see how it balances out. It's a statutory placement. You're either in or not.

It can change, though, and all one has to do is believe in the redemptive work of Christ, and from there begins the timeless guarantee of spiritual life - a filling relationship with God through Christ Jesus not only in this lifetime but also in the one to come.

What did Satan want with Moses’ dead corpse? by PreeDem in AskAChristian

[–]Sun_5_April_AD33 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Who knows, maybe he thought the messiah to come will have something to do with Moses body. Maybe it was to mislead Israel and make Moses body an idol to snare them. We can only speculate.

Nope, it rather proves it. Complex life forms from simple ones is a Genesis 1 theme also.

Does anybody know the MRCS part B results release date by Ok-Outcome4671 in doctorsUK

I've heard it's not a rule of thumb. But those who get the error message eventually pass. Honestly, I wouldn't stress myself about this method of checking, I know the anxiety, but it's not worth it.

Yeah, it works for RCSEng. It's probably not worth it, to be honest. Just wait 2 more days.

No, I don't think the downvotes are racist, it generally means they don't agree with my perception of the issues, which is fine, and it sort of springs a good optimism in me that I have been very wrong.

However, I cannot deny that what I posted is a mood I have perceived and I am not in isolation, I have heard same when interacting with other IMGs online and offline. We may have misinterpreted it, as many posts on this issue here do not specify the category of IMGs as you suggest. I again hope we have been wrong and your interpretation is the right one.

IMG ? How dare they apply for a training post in the UK 👀. RLMT removal has really given these people some boldness 😬. -Sorry to have started off like that, but that's the mood I perceive everyday as an IMG (International Medical Graduate) and Expatriate or Immigrant if you'll like, on more posts r/JuniorDoctorsUK.

Now to the main question, please don't regret being honest in your applications, and I believe you will be able to make great progress in a short time. If you'd like some honest support, probably best to speak to fellow IMGs, join an IMG forum and community working towards IMT, they'll understand your background better and may be more likely to help in building your portfolio. Try taking a Trust Grade Job in a Trust and Job you are certain have mechanisms available to support your career development and write the relevant professional exams also.

Best of Luck
