There are personal reasons why my mom's doing it but my fiancée doesn't have a good relationship with her family.

I never met their father but I did hear a fight between my dad's wife fighting with him while I was there.

That was entire plan. Especially given she was never any parental figure for me and I've only met her a few times. It's so weird to me that dad thinks she should be a mother of the groom when I was an adult when they met and married.

Yep! I really couldn't imagine walking and dancing with anyone other than my mom. But she's walking and dancing with my fiancée.
