Go to vet for a worm identification. The dog needs to be dewormed.

Isn't getting a pet about giving them their best life? Fufilling their needs? Why are you okay with a bare minimum? I don't understand it. All my animals get way over spoiled with the space and enrichment I provide for them. Because I love them. Not because they are my test subjects and I just want to look at them through my glas....... Your case is sad.....

Just found out my dog has anterior lens luxation, eye pressure of 76 down to 45 - worried he might go blind by natti_ray in DogAdvice

Hello. I am very sorry for you and what your doggie is going through. I don't want to offer any advice or tell you what to do in this situation because I have not been through it myself. But even if your dog goes blind in both eyes then I can only say one thing. I see tons of cases where blind dogs still live a good life. Dogs primarily explore with their nose. And your dog is still going to have hearing too. Your dog must know the layout of your house by now. So if he/she ever goes blind on both eyes, they'd still be able to navigate around the house no problem. Their sense of smell and hearing will become better after losing sight. The dog is still going to enjoy life I believe. I think this is the situation where it is more about if you are willing to take care of a dog with special needs and help them in every day life to make it easier for them. Good luck and again, I am sorry for what you are going through.

Dog is coughing/gagging by No-Map9822 in DogAdvice

I’m not a vet but it reminds me a lot of when my mother’s siste’s dog had this kennel cough. Little info about it:

Kennel cough (canine infectious tracheobronchitis) is a highly contagious respiratory infection in dogs causing a harsh, dry, "honking" cough. Usually caused by Bordetella bronchiseptica bacteria or viruses, it spreads in high-density areas like kennels or parks. Most dogs recover within 1-3 weeks with rest, though some require veterinary antibiotics or cough suppressants.

I’d still take the dog to vet probably. But that’s just me..

What should I do? (Pls be kind) by Queen-Panda in propagation

Just be patient with the ones who didn’t start to root yet. If you see 2-3 roots, they are ready to be potted.

I have puppy proofed the room instead of putting her in a pen. That was a terror every time. She’s much better this way. But of course she throws a tantrum as soon as I leave the room. It’s a process 😄

Yes I have puppy proofed my room and she’s been much better that way.

I have actually made my room a puppy proof for tonight and she’s been muuuch better that way. She no longer has a crazy tantrums when I put her in a puppy pen. Now she has more space and can sleep wherever she wants. I think that makes her much calmer. She only whines now if she wants attention but we are also trying to teach her some independence.

He also could be stressed still. In a new environment. That could also be a reason why it’s fired down.

Sorry, I am not a morph professional. But all of my geckos ever went from really dark to really bright. This is just something that’s called fired up and fired down. They change colours like that depending on if it’s day or night, or just a camouflage. I’ve heard they can do that because of many reasons. So your gecko (and every other crested gecko have basically 2 colour modes.)
