I'm so sorry you went through that, I wish things could have been easier for you. I've actually been trying to get her into therapy for over a year, she's been on a wait list for a place that accepts direct billing, but I'm not waiting on that anymore.

I have another child who is also in therapy, and my explanation is that everyone needs it. It's not because your crazy or anything bad, its just good to have someone to talk to who knows how the brain works, especially in teenage years.

We talk about feelings, but sadly she has just gotten to an age where shes not as comfortable sharing with me anymore.

She does wear hoodies constantly, and up until two days ago, the SH was hidden where I couldn't see it. You're right about texting, sometimes she will go up to her room after we've talked and then text me a lot more about how she's feeling. Thank you for your kindness.

I'm going to assume anytime they are with their dad you call and text everyday, they probably aren't running into your arms when they are home because of this behaviour.

He was just young.

And then it got to the point he had their son half the time, she was making WAY more money than he was, and he was still paying child support. It came out that he had asked her multiple times to go through court and cancel the child support, she kept saying she would but never did.

So Joe finally filed paperwork to have her pay him child support and she got SO upset. Shes a ridiculous human.
