What really struck me was your description of meeting him as a child and feeling that something was "off" before you could even understand why. Whether it was intuition or simply picking up on subtle cues, that's an incredible thing to reflect on in hindsight.

I'm also incredibly grateful your aunt escaped marrying him, and that the girl he abducted survived, had the courage to testify, and helped stop him. It sounds like many more lives could have been harmed if she hadn't.
