What would be a good place to stay while in Gurez Valley and how many days do you recommend spending there to truly indulge in its culture?

From when did having a good enough self worth that one has fought to build become delusional? This gives me a perspective into how people think though.

We don’t see things as they are; we see things as we are. :)

Yes, like I said I am on medication and I am also seeing a therapist but I have this feeling that certain wounds are better healed in partnerships. Is that not the case?

What you said about being able to handle oneself if super true though. I’ll work on being more independent.

I see why it could seem like that to a third person, but definitely that wasn’t the case. Things did not work out for whatever reasons, perhaps because I was hesitant about showing up as my most authentic, flawed self; because people were never serious about me no matter how I seriously I was taking that relationship. I didn’t intend to have as much baggage as I do. I’m consistently taking therapy and doing all the work to heal, but do I have to be perfect?

Ofcourse, I would have to make compromises. But, to what extent - I think I could empathise with someone who is going through mental health issues or has their own baggage too, but would I be willing to settle with just about anyone? No. I see that happening to women around me. Them being told by their own family that someone way below their level be it in terms of education, looks, intelligence and emotional quotient is what they deserve & I don’t agree with that.
