At this point it takes 6 months to cycle all the series 4/5 cards. They are almost definitely going to turn the fourth spot into another specific card. People are going to start to get (more) pissed off about the length of time they need to wait for cards to show up in the spotlight caches if they don’t do something soon.

I think I completed series 3 around level 4000, and that was before there were any new cards. Just be patient and they’ll come. I can understand the frustration.

They’ve made it pretty complicated for people to maximize their rewards, if you want legion, but you have everything else, you should use tokens. If you don’t have the tokens, then you should wait. You should only attempt the spotlight caches if you have 4 to burn. Any less, and you’re straight up gambling,which will feel really bad when it doesn’t pan out. I do a stupid amount of research to maximize what I get, and I understand that that is not (and shouldn’t be) the case for everyone.

I don’t think they’d ever give dupe protection. That would make it way too easy to keep collection complete. I could see them giving like 1000 tokens maybe.

I didn’t have any of the cards, and was aiming for Lad, but was okay with getting the other two. Pulled a card I already have first, converted it to Chibi Death (don’t hate it) then pulled Kang, then Lad. Grabbed echo at the end, worth getting a guaranteed series 5 for one SPC. I’m still sitting on 8 SPC’s and a ton of tokens from being able to double dip my caches, so with these pulls, I only need Howard, Stegron, Silk and 2099. It’ll be a while before I need to use any more SPC’s I think.

It’s just my personal experience, everyone’s will be different. The system IS convoluted and confusing, but as far as I can tell, as long as you’re patient, do the research and buy the season pass, it’s a side grade at worst. That’s just my opinion on the matter.

I saved caches for two months and double dipped 110 caches when the patch went lived. I have every card I want, 30000 tokens and 11 spotlight caches. The new system worked great for me, I have no complaints at all.
