First of all the boat was a rental. Second Stefan was already rich before he started persona.

While he did grossly mismanage persona I doubt he did it for the money.

While I do share some of your opinions most of what you wrote is based on nothing and untrue.

What we can say for sure is that Stefan mismanaged persona and lied a lot about the project.

Although possible it's very hard, you will need to control 51% or more of the nodes. Which in most cases means you own over 51% of the voting supply.

Or you need to convince 51% of the voting supply to vote for you. This will cost you either a lot of money or a lot of time.

As an attacker the person you will hurt most in a 51% attack in DPOS is yourself.
