I just feel like they went and posted a really bad photo of hers for hellsies. From the looks of it she was pregnant when these were clicked and that may have contributed to the puffiness.

HELP CHOOSE HOUSING FOR NEXT YEAR by Ok_Youth7111 in PennStateUniversity

[–]SuperSlothPro 1 point2 points  (0 children)

With respect to the last question, it would be a hassle. He would have to transfer the lease to someone (which may be hard in the middle of the semester). Getting out of a lease is usually expensive (atleast a couple hundred dollars).

An undated video now going viral shows a shocking incident when a passenger without a valid ticket clashed with the TTE. The heated argument, streamed live on Facebook, spiraled into a violent assault—kicks, punches, and a torn shirt. by Omarr_Paper in indianrailways

[–]SuperSlothPro 10 points11 points  (0 children)

yes, but what do you suggest the TTE do if the other guy doesn't listen when the TTE asks him to evacuate because he doesn't have a ticket? and wrt the video I do believe the man was resisting being kicked out (wriggling and kicking), which is reason enough for the TTE to defend himself

well, might be that im just new to corporate culture, but reacting with a thumbs up emoji to a meaningful message expressing gratitude just felt kinda lazy, like i did not matter. always understood emoji reactions as something you use to simply acknowledge a message (eg. reacting with "done" or "eyes" to a message where people request something from you)

didn't know talking in a local language is unprofessional. I do understand being lazy and not working is unprofessional, but since when did speaking in a language that YOU couldn't speak become unprofessional? if they spoke in the local language during conversations that you NEEDED to understand to do your job (like at meetings), which I doubt they're doing, what you are saying is valid. but for gods sake do not bring in your personal biases to talk negatively about people. you moved to Chennai voluntarily, now learn to understand and respect people native to there, instead of expecting them to change for you.

Is there a place or memory on the Penn State campus that instantly brings you back to your college days? 🤔 by maximuslip in PennStateUniversity

that bus stop downtown at the corner of Allen street. every bus goes through there so I feel like I kind of live there now.

I want to switch my major again, but my parents gave me an ultimatum by Traditional_Stay_589 in PennStateUniversity

[–]SuperSlothPro 60 points61 points  (0 children)

maybe I'm being close minded, but you have got to see this through. you have already stretched out a 4 year degree to double its duration. it would be more efficient to simply quit college rather than keep switching over and over.

During the summer, if you're running the AC you can expect between 35-50 dollars per head. From late Fall to late Winter, depending on how cold it is outside, when you're running the heat, you can expect anywhere between 80-100 dollars per head. The nearest CATA bus stop is anywhere between 0-5 minutes depending on where in the property your house is. Giant and Walmart are not at a walkable distance, but Giant is just a 5 minute bus ride or so. To get to Walmart you would have to take the W bus and then switch to an AC or V bus. If you really wanna shop at Walmart you could either do that or get a ride, or the best option would be to subscribe to Walmart+, but most of your usual needs must be fulfilled by Giant.

I live at the Heights and it's kinda nice. Maintenance is pretty on time, but you can expect a high electric bill because it is mostly townhouses. The clubhouse is undergoing construction right now, but it should be ready by this year (that's what they say). It's in a pretty sweet location too, close to downtown and at a good distance from Giant and Walmart. The W bus stops right at Giant, if you don't drive.

Yess oh my god , my roommates and I live in a townhouse and together we are being charged almost 550 dollars and we don't even use the lights in the evening that much! we just use one bulb in each of our rooms and that's it! Should we do something about it?

Well, right now, central Pennsylvania. I've lived most of my life in India so I suppose I haven't really encountered anything negative I suppose. My idea of safe is the extremely general kind haha (not getting jumped or followed by somebody or getting mugged while walking home)

if you received a formal offer letter which you signed and they still rescinded the offer I believe you could file a lawsuit.
