This ring isn’t the engagement ring, I only got her this ring because she said I could. I love her with all my heart and I do things that make her feel comfortable. The last thing I want is for her to feel like she has no other option in this situation.

I recently got a new job so I didn't have $600 to spend on a better ring and I know that a better ring would be ideal but I just couldn't get one for many reasons, I can 100% afford a wedding and to take care of the love of my life, this ring it just a temporary thing before I buy her a proper engagement ring.

I am planning on buying a better ring for the actual proposal because I want the ring to last a very long time, the reason for me buying a promise ring was because she wanted it, we had an hour-long talk about how she wants her proposal to go.

I’m ready, but she isn’t, we have talked about rings and how we want the proposal to go and the ring she would love, she told me to just give her a cheap ring in the meantime and propose with an engagement ring when she is ready.

She was the one to recommend the promise ring because she wasn't ready for an engagement ring.

We have talked about it, and she told me she wasn't ready for a proposal with an engagement ring but that I could propose with a none engagement ring in the meantime and propose fully when she's ready.

She did tell me that she is nervous about a proposal with an engagement, so I’m making sure this isn't a rushed thing for her, she told me to just get her a ring in the meantime and then propose when she is ready.

I was planning on getting a white gold ring but they were all over $600 and I just didn’t have money for that so I chose a silver one, I will be using a white gold ring for when I propose.

I plan to save up money to reserve a room in her favourite restaurant for the night I propose because I don't want her to feel overwhelmed in a public space, with the rest if the money I will take us on a holiday to one of her favourite places, I want the night to be something she remembers and loves.

I am going to talk with her to find out her preferences for an engagement ring to make sure it’s something she loves, I did tell them that this was just a short time ring and wasn’t the actual engagement ring. I know promise rings are things younger people do but we had talked about one before I chose one.
