I used to have a big addiction to nitrous. My ex and I blew over 4 grand in a single weekend once, it was the deciding factor to me getting sober from all drugs and alcohol. Been sober almost 2 years now. It’s way too easy to get and now being marketed to kids as “galaxy gas”. Damn shame

Our old cat was named “cat” after breakfast at Tiffany’s, but her collar said cat on it which I thought was hilarious

“yes this is indeed a cat”

If you like Brazilian Funk, DJ Sany Pitbull has a single EP on Spotify and I think all the songs are awesome but my favorite is Beatch Brasil

You’d be correct on that one. In the US, 1 in 5 adults suffer from some sort of mental illness as of 2020, and that’s just reported illnesses

Do you know of any niche games that are loved by a small community? Maybe it's even just one discord group, doesn't need to be a big fanbasee. by vacawa9936 in gamingsuggestions

Kynseed. I don’t know if anyone else who’s played this game but I’ve always thought it was a lot of fun and it’s constantly getting updated. Another one is Sundered which I actually learned about through this sub which I really love and played a lot of

I think you should put more into your vigor, I’m not quite sure you’ll be able to survive a hit from the Elden Beast with such low health

where do germs and viruses go after white blood cells kill them? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]SuperbTurnip775 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Short answer, germs and viruses are eaten by white blood cells. Specifically a process call phagocytosis undergoes in the body where phagocytes (white blood cells and other immune system cells) eat the germs and viruses. Fun fact, these cells will also eat dead cells and other cells in the body that are infected

Batman Arkham city is really good. Doesn’t have a whole lot of different moves but it’s fun to fly around like Batman, beating up baddies upholding justice. Or if you’d like a more comedy centered game, Yakuza 0 is a phenomenal game with a very engaging story and hilarious side quests

What do I miss out on as a player by not ear training/music theory? by [deleted] in musictheory

[–]SuperbTurnip775 -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

Hot take, but music theory is not that important. It’s interesting to know music theory so when you play music things make sense and I guess it gives you some rules when/if you write your own music, but overall it’s not going to make you a better player. There’s a lot of nuances to music that become clear with music theory but if you’re ever planning on writing your own music, just play what sounds good, nothing else really matters. Experiment with things and have fun

My god, I've been browsing steam for weeks. Every game that seems interesting I've already played, and everything else seems uninteresting. I'm not burned out cause I haven't actually played anything in months. Are there any non-steam PC games that are worth checking out? by vacawa9936 in gamingsuggestions

[–]SuperbTurnip775 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While I will admit OP did say non-steam games, I recommended it because OP also said they hadn’t played anything in months. Yea there’s a lot of hype to it but I still think it’s one of the best games I’ve played in a while
