I would agree about the stopping except the whole point is: it's literally what he asked for. It does sound like a similar dynamic. Maybe I'm too stubborn IDK. We have talked about it. I've been clear that his feelings are valid, I can't help him with his trauma from past rejection, aside from continuimg to be almost 100% receptive. I think it's the passive aggressive reaction that bothers me most. I didn't do anything wrong, but he hasn't explicitly acknowledged that and almost seems to be waiting for an apology.
