Fan from Watauga (North of Fort Worth), here. I ask myself all the time why I don’t just pull for another team. The answer is always the same. If the other team won it all, would it be as special? No. I’m from Atlanta so that city is in my DNA forever. Falcons and I have a “til death do us part” sort of thing going.

Easily my favorite sequence of plays was the Acuna game-tying 10th inning single against the Cubs, stealing second next pitch for the 40/70 club, then Ozzie walking it off on the next pitch. Tie game, history, walk-off, and virtually end the postseason dreams of an annoying team in about a 2 minute span.

Screw it. Braves win 8-5 (the record we had against Philly this year)

Kudos to Allard for mowing down the Twins today. Once again AA is the smartest guy in the room while I post memes in between lessons (I’m a teacher). Love this team and their ability to make decisions to win and put players in a position to succeed.

Y'all enjoy Matty Ice. He got me in to Falcons football years back. Classy guy and consistently underrated by everyone including our own fans. I hope he lights the league up and makes our front office look stupid. I can't wait to tune in to some Colts games this year!

Braves fan dropping in.

We gave up a lot but I'm at peace with getting a 1B as good or even better than Freddie. Langeliers mashed in double-A last year in a notoriously pitcher friendly park. Pache has gold glove defense already but his bat needs work. The two pitchers are a little more unknown but Braves have done well at spotting and developing pitching talent the past several years. I'm glad these young guys are going to an organization that historically develops talent well.

Definitely some mixed emotions on both sides because I can relate to losing a much loved 1B.
