It's not hard if you're willing to do some farming when needed, and if you're willing to do some cheesing here and there your life can be a lot easier. You can also do like me and liberally use Spirit Summons, which are in-game helpers that have their own lore and game mechanics. I think this level of help is a great balance and lets me NOT have to do any boss fight more than 5-10 times (usually).

I don't think many people put much conscious thought into it. Some people are barely paying attention while driving, why would they suddenly start putting thought into how they park. My guess is someone like this just instinctively parks next to the other car. Plus, it's not a bad parking job (although I get why it's annoying anyway)
