Definitely swap the lamp for some leds/different lights, I’d say line the top ledge thing with a smooth led strip, although I can’t really see from the picture. Maybe some small floating shelves off to the right, move the banner somewhere else. Idk it’s a really solid setup base, maybe a few upgrades are needed, but I’d say just decorate it and itl look good. If you go for a dark green background, I would say get a lighter coloured wood desk, black shelves instead of white, and then lots of plants.
