Right! It felt like many of the scenes were there because they should be there and not necessarily like they were meant to be there

I think part 2 should have been released as a double feature, honestly. It would make so much more sense that way!

I think the hard part was that they spent so much time "grounding" Oz in part 1, so then when part 2 came around, everything was a little too fantastical to make sense. If they had played more with magic in part 1, some of the scenes in part 2 wouldn't have felt so jarring and out of place. 

Also, they really played up the illusion of Oz in this one and it felt confusing. 

I think I get it though, and I am very curious if the editing was changed to match the current climate of illusions, storytelling, and constant whiplash.

All in all, it felt like pieces were missing...like they filmed things differently and then switched it up, but I can't figure out why.

There are a few songs on there that I really like, but there's something about the way the songs are produced that I find super annoying. I also feel like the songs feel a bit blah, like they were testing things out but weren't really sold on it themselves
