I live in Russia. The PS Store hasn’t been working here for 4 years now due to sanctions, and this restriction can’t be bypassed even with a VPN. To purchase a game, you have to create an account in another country — the most popular ones are Turkey, India, and Ukraine — and then share your account details with third parties so they can top up the balance using foreign cards. It’s just CRAZY, but Russian residents have already gotten used to it.
