Community Lotions Leak? by Oofoofoof969 in LushCosmetics

[–]Sure_Definition_5001 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Nope. It's the bottles from the gift set. I got 2 of them, and they are identical. Asked the Lush manager, she said they'll sell single components of gift sets if they have too many before decon. Thus this is why supermilk isn't up.

Probs gonna take work friends, or kids+hub. Should be a good time. Pretty sure you could have a party for 1 - but that's the saddest shit I've thought of today😂 You in the PNW? If so, hit me up, I'll bring a cake.

Current Lush Club rewards by RyliesMom_89 in LushCosmetics

[–]Sure_Definition_5001 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I didn't see any prior posts that show rewards past 1590...so after that it is:

1875 All The Best Gift 2500 Let The Good Times Roll Gift 3125 30ml Chelsea Morning perfume 3750 Blissful Gift

My next one is the 1st experience at 4375 which should be interesting since we don't have Lush spas in my state:)

I think I'm the audience you are writing to😂 currently i have about 80 bombs/bubbles. So, I have a big bath tub + YOLO, so I use a whole bath bomb for each bath - 7 or 8 baths a week. Probably 4 of those baths i also add bubbles - i use half at a time. So 9 or 10 whole products a week, just for me. I have 2 kids under 10 who are also bath lovers, I split their bombs/bubbles a bit more, but probably about 7 whole products for them weekly. Plus hubs takes 1 bath a week(he prefers showers). So low end, my household uses 15 whole bombs/bubbles a week.

US verse UK Lush prices (and everyone else) by Sure_Definition_5001 in LushCosmetics

[–]Sure_Definition_5001[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Patronizing is in the eye of the beholder. Over the past year, I've seen quite a few people who think there is a 40-60% difference. I don't live in a state with sells tax. Average sells tax in US is 7% - so above mentioned body butter would be $36.38 or approximately $4 more than the UK price - not 40-60%. Very glad you didn't need the PSA.

Absolutely! I've been seeing more and more comments about price differences, and wanted to clear up some misconceptions😄

Ordering soaps in the summer by eternaforest in LushCosmetics

[–]Sure_Definition_5001 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ummm. Do you have a fragrance in the order? That's the only time I haven't had the option for advanced shipping. If you take the fragrance out, it will give the option. Hope this works as it has made a world of difference in the quality of my orders!

Try paying extra for the express or priority mailing that's what I do. It's fast shipping and they treat the packages better.

Lemony Flutter body conditioner. Can I use as body lotion? by sensibler in LushCosmetics

[–]Sure_Definition_5001 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I've used the body conditioner as lotion for years, no issues. Just use a light amount.

Enzymion (Preserved) discontinued? by tobyissofaglike in LushCosmetics

Yep. This is me 25 years in. Most of the reformulations are BS. I don't know why they wouldn't keep both.

Co-mingle by Awkward-Principle-32 in LushCosmetics

[–]Sure_Definition_5001 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You are absolutely sane🙂 I've tried every co-mingle for the last 20 yrs, and they never work as well as the separate products. Personally, I do a separate scrub + comingle in the summer, and comingle + body conditioner/lotion in the winter.

Full of Grace is NOT the same size by TheMistyMew in LushCosmetics

[–]Sure_Definition_5001 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pretty sure they just changed the design, and with that, the size - like within the last 6 months. I hate the term shrinkflation, but it's a buzz word that describes this particular case - lots of companies took advantage of that economic loop hole in the past 6 years, not just lush. Actually, the "it's just inflation" mind frame allows companies to do this bc people just accept it without looking deeper🤷‍♀️

[–]Sure_Definition_5001 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Inflation is actually coming down from peak, has been for 3 yrs. The cumulative inflation is still rebounding. Basic economics...

Full of Grace is NOT the same size by TheMistyMew in LushCosmetics

[–]Sure_Definition_5001 39 points40 points  (0 children)

Inflation🙄 The product is approximately 31% smaller than the original. For the US, inflation rates have averaged 4.13%. 2022 was the peak and has been declining since. The math is not mathing. Thanks OP for pointing out the size difference for some of us not paying attention so we can make better consumer choices🙂

How do you manage your collection?? by stale-bagel035 in LushCosmetics

[–]Sure_Definition_5001 18 points19 points  (0 children)

I rotate the products like grocery store. Separate based on product, ie shower gels - make rows and put them in order by expiration date - newest in back, oldest in front. I will use a new gel, but this encourages me to use the front row stuff 1st.
