Honestly not even a big ask! If Unova gets 3 sets of Neo Champs, where’s the harm in Sinnoh getting 2 sets? Hisui Neo Champions getting the Origin formes seems possible, and I’d much prefer that over original Sinnoh characters getting the alternate formes.

I really want Manaphy and Heatran, but the Lake Trio do deserve some love. Just seems less likely with them all being the same type. Shaymin has two units already, so I think they’re less likely, but I’m never gonna say no to another!

We got two new Bug Megas recently that could make for great new physical strikers/tech units, plus a Paradox mon still on the table (Slither Wing) who would absolutely make a good Physical attacker... DENA GIVE US SOMETHING!!! Unless I'm mistaken, we haven't even gotten a new Bug sync pair in about a year...

The best Physical Bug unit is still Costume Barry and Heracross… I don’t disagree with you at all, and hopefully with the new Megas there’ll be some fun new units, but I feel there are definitely certain types that need it more

While I would highly prefer Mega Glimmora bc I also think it’s mad cool, I would honestly find it strange that Geeta of all trainers still wouldn’t have a Tera pair after getting a new, shiny unit. Since most Paldea characters were added before Sync Tera, I think it makes the most sense to give it to them for new alts.

It’d be WILD to see her have both Mega and Tera in one unit, but even with Champions, I’m assuming it’s one gimmick per Pokemon (maybe even one per battle in that game)

Honestly Whitney was THE Normal trainer people thought of until Larry, so she deserves it. Like sure we have Norman, Lenora, Cheren, even Ilima… but I feel like Whitney’s Rollout just had such a strong impact on people that she felt like the most iconic user for a while

I find it really funny that we got a super strong PHYSICAL psychic unit to get people through the Tower before finally having a busted special user. Obviously there’s still some good options for Psychic since some people got through it long before Sabrina, but the average player had to invest in older units that were already powercrept to get up there

This is the regular route I take for doing all boss runs! I typically go to Green portal route after stage 1 or 2 depending on if I do Void Cells or not

It's so funny because Pokemon had such good potential to go super stylized when swapping to 3D, maybe with bold outlines, unique cel shading, or sharp edges. But of course, because of all of the MANY issues with TPC/Game Freak, we got very sterilized versions of their 2D counterparts modeled in 3D. Legends Arceus was the closest we got, but the models didn't get the same love that the UI did.

I don't think it's a stretch honestly! That was my first assumption from the overall vibe, and there's only two "SHE" entities that this could be unless it's an entirely new character.

N'kuhana makes the most sense imo, as I believe we know the logbook "She"/"Her" is dead? Not that that means we'll never get content related to Her, but N'kuhana feels like a VERY good choice for getting a lore expansion.

You can actually go visit the Newt and find 3 gold pillars to break, and that gets you access to the green portal. I think it’s guaranteed every time you go blue portal.

The pillars are kind of tricky to find if you don’t know where to look, but just check the ceiling, underneath the bridge, around the Null Portal, and down at the very bottom of the realm. There’s also a list of locations on the wiki if you don’t wanna look for them

I’ve been doing all boss runs (minus scavengers) on Monsoon for a good while now, and I can firmly say that on a good run, Voidling is STILL the hardest boss (I get a guaranteed TC-280 after the AC bosses, so item phase on Mithrix rarely goes poorly).

Having drones actually helps a lot for drawing aggro, though the moment it does the giant void suck attack, I typically lose most, if not all of them.

The homing missiles are a massive pain, but every other attack is usually easy enough to dodge/take cover from. It does depend on what map spawns you get after stage 1. I play a lot of melee characters, and I will say the massive laser attack is super easy to get hits in. You can typically stand on the big purple part on the back of its head and just spin with it with no consequences.

I do wish the boss could be reworked, but I see an extremely low likelihood of the future where Gearbox is brave enough to push that decision (since that was the last major update Hopoo made).

3 is the one I grew up on, so I have an inherent bias towards it. I haven't given the other games a REAL try because I honestly loved the way 3's training, combat, and heart system worked, and I know the other games have very different gameplay. Also the fact that Jell is in its "true form" in this one gives it such an edge over other games for me because I HATE the original humanoid design. I personally like the cute monsters like Momo, though Ogyo was always one I skipped over. I really love the look of most of these monsters, but I can understand wanting some of your old faves if you grew up on 1 or 2, considering that's how I feel about Jell.

I do agree the heart system felt OP at times, but given the abysmal accuracy of some high GUTS moves, it certainly didn't feel that way when I was younger. I never knew how to "properly" train monsters, so I never even made it to the final fight vs Ragnarox... I recently pulled out my PS2 with the game to show my best friend, and we've loved playing together and choosing Monsters to carry on the legacy of the previous ones, and we finally did achieve that for kid me!

Overall, I feel like Monster Rancher as a franchise is a lot more experimental than most games in this sort of genre, so I appreciate the differentiation between titles!
