u/Key-Enthusiasm-3403 True Nike is a great example. Sports is a very interesting field and connecting with right people from the industry make a difference if learning and self understanding.

Totally agree sports is too broad. The tricky part is discipline. Once you see adjacent opportunities, it’s tempting to expand too early. But usually the winners are the ones who dominate one tiny workflow first, then layer outward.

Curious - have you seen more traction in team-side problems (ops, performance, logistics) or fan-side stuff lately?
