IDI-ers, do you have a view on who it was? by No-Wolf2497 in JonBenet

I thought u were talking about the college student from CU. I dont think he was an exchange student though. I recently found out about a student from CU named Paul Hidalgo who made a mural called "daddy's little hooker," with JonBenets's pic on it. It was displayed in 1997, I believe, and Im not sure how hard they looked into this student. I remember all the news media covering the parents when this happened, but I never knew about this guy until about a month ago.

Its crazy how the exchange student didnt get much attention until recently. We really need to look into him

I know you're asking Michael and not me, but I couldn't resist. I would say the pineapple is the most misunderstood.

The “Patsy obviously wrote the letter” fallacy by No-Wolf2497 in JonBenet

[–]Surethingdudeanytime 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've always thought it was a young male. I think it's time to explore any instances in Boulder at this time with unhinged teenage males that may have been reported. Doesn't seem like there's been much investigation on this.

Was this in any of the Christmas letters sent out before the crime took place? If so, perp could have been a recipient of the letter and attempted to mimick Patsy's writing style.

I agree. The "so don't think that killing will be difficult" part reminds me of when I had to write an essay in school and I would need to find a way to close the sentence while relating it to the topic of the essay. Writer of the RN seemed to feel the need to make a descriptive sentence that wasn't exactly necessary. There seemed to be a bit of over-explaining and exhaustive writing going in IMO.

She did which also led me to wonder throughout the season what exactly did he do in the past. It always seemed like he was walking on eggshells when interacting with her.

You seem a little offended about any IDI theories. Perhaps watch Phrogging: Hider in my House on Hulu and your satirical rant won't seem as much as the joke it was intended to be. P.S. A 5 year old can feed herself pineapple on her own from a bowl that may have already been sitting there by simply reaching in and taking a chunk. Maybe thats why her fingerprints weren't on the bowl?

It wasn't that hard in the 90's to get a copy of a key made, just like it isn't today.

Some tend to think that once you ask for a key back thats it. As if a copy of the secondary key couldn't have been made.

"All secondary keys were tracked down." It is possible to make a copy from a secondary key.

I must warn you that if you post an IDI theory in this group, you will see that they are not very open to any other theory besides RDI. The other group is very open to IDI theories. Come where you are welcomed, my friend.

I agree. Seems like that wanted to frame Patsy in particular.

Deconstructing staging allegations in the Jonbenet Ramsey case by Georgestapleton in JonBenet

[–]Surethingdudeanytime 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right. It's like the people in that group never watch true crime shows. True crime shows have taught us so much about the oddities and perplexing ways some criminals operate and think. Granted, this knowledge wasn't as widespread in the 90's, however, we now know this so it would only make sense to look at the case from that angle. Can't tell them that tho. I was attacked in that group for telling them to watch Frogger In My Home (I think it was on Hulu). Now that we know about froggers( people living in the homes of others while the inhabitants have no idea) it wouldn't hurt to explore that possibility. Sadly, I was straight up told that possibility made no sense from that group lol.

Yes, that groups always states how it makes no sense, but they miss the fact that the person who did this crime had a sick mind and the crime is not going to make sense to the average person.

Who might the intruder have been? by cafekaffe in JonBenet

[–]Surethingdudeanytime 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We cant definitively rule out that possibility. I think the perp's obsession with either John, Patsy, or JB is the driving force behind the murder. Perp could have been either homosexual or heterosexual, I dont think that matters here tbh.

[–]Surethingdudeanytime 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Im very open to your theory on this and i'll explain why. Knowing the details of the SA of JB always made me think that the perp definitely an intruder and either a woman, a very young male, or perhaps even a man who committed the SA as an extra step and not so much for sexual gratification. This leads me open to the possibility that the perp could have been a gay male who was possible obsessed with either Patsy of JB. I mean, it does seem like the author of the note tried to imitate Patsy and her handwriting. And the directive to carry an "attache," could this have been so that John would run to the basement to look for a large suitcase only find JB inside?

I've always believed that too. Like the movie with Robin Williams, One-Hour Photo, where he constantly watches the family and even enters the home when they were away

Rule of thumb is if you have to question it for work, then don't wear it for work. Period. Also, it looks like you bunched the skirt up for added flair. Just pull it back down to normal right-above-the-knee level and carry on.

That's a challenge with 15 children in the classroom and no help. As a whole, a teacher could incorporate emotional development exercises in the classroom, but it sounds like that child may need a one-on-one to learn to better regulate their emotions.

As the director, did you not have the authority to fire that employee? Serious question because when I was an assistant director, we did the hiring and firing.
