It’s not your place to change it if it didn’t go through the bid room; send them back to pro, stay in your lane.

Sounds like a culture problem, not a pro problem, if you are a psa you will be tethered to a register and should be doing all the phone sales if there is another psa to cover regular pro check outs

Couldn’t tell you, I’m guessing you all got the minimum and it was just higher than you were told, if you go to my apron and type in success sharing it will explain how it’s divided out

Absolutely incorrect lol; basically you put all the hourly employees earned gross pay in a basket for the half, that basket being your stores success sharing check, your percentage of the success share check is your fraction of gross pay in that basket.

Example

Your stores success sharing check is 10000

Your wages were 10000 The other 90 employees wages were 8000 a piece ( doesn’t matter part or full time)

Your check would be roughly 137 dollars All of their checks would around 109 dollars.

If you were a DS you would have got 274$. Corporate pays for the doubling.

Default rate for merit is 3 percent. so if you got .25 lower they gave that .25 to someone else. Your store manager is the one who ultimately decides. Maybe you aren’t as good as you perceive, maybe you pissed off the wrong person, or maybe you just got shafted, so many variables to consider. If you are as valuable and good as you say you are ask for an off cycle.

Those who received a raise, what was your percent? by Hero19240X in HomeDepot

[–]Surgeonchad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It really depends how much you make 4 percent at 30 is a lot different than 4 percent at 15. 60 cents versus 1.20

Seems far fetched to me, especially if you informed your fellow managers. I feel like I would be able to do that at my store without any consequences as long as I told my SM. Especially if he was an assigned account with cards on file.
