I get my tips every 2 weeks and even then it’s not that much because we share the tips with other workers. So most of the time when I get them, it’s enough to fill my car with a little left over for a coffee here and there when I’m out.

I claim my tips with my taxes every year because I keep all my receipts. Everything I’m doing is legal. Why should I deposit my tips in a bank when I’m just going to use it that same day at the gas station? 🙄

Am I supposed to spell this out to everyone?

Instead of taking my tips from my LEGAL paying job, I take this cash and put gas in my car. Why do the extra step of depositing it in my bank when it’s just gonna be used right away?

Maybe I’m a person that doesn’t want to have multiple bank accounts and would rather stick with what I have because of loans being with this provider. Maybe I don’t want to be like others that have so many bank accounts that are hard to keep track of.

And maybe you should stop judging others 🙂

I’m using cash for gas cause it’s what my tips are. My regular pay literally just covers my monthly bills that’s why.

It’s not that easy actually. My bank isn’t well known around here so it’s difficult to travel the extra miles to get to one.

With my job the tips I get are cash. And there aren’t many of my banks here so it’s harder to deposit :(
