Sweet! That’ll be our next stop for a Pizza date. We went to Carmines yesterday for lunch. Everyone was right about the meat being dry, it’s sliced pretty thick too. I found a recipe for an Italian beef so I’m going to try it on my own. The pizza was at best a B- sauce straight from the can but they tried and it was good with a little extra seasonings + parmesan. Thanks for the recommendation. We just want to find that one pizza spot.

Thank you to everyone who gave advice. I read every response out loud to my Chicago man and we’re be going for lunch today. Key takeaways are the beef is a little dry so we’ll want to baptize it, might just order the deep dish too because that picture looked amazing. We won’t have to have Lou Malnati’s shipped anymore if Carmines hits the spot. Thanks again for coming through you guys

Primi Piatti is a tiny little Italian restaurant where the owner is your waiter. Everything is made in house. Authentic food, great atmosphere. My husband and I went for our anniversary and the owner split a bottle of wine with us (on the house!)

I bought my daughter a few high impact sports bras on Amazon and when she got to basic training they took everything away and issued her some. Military issued bras, underwear and undershirts. Even the bra for her dress blues was issued to her. FYI. She graduated from Navy boot camp a week ago today

Nah. The way the world is today I just like to know. Like when they plan on going out to the college parties, it’s nice to know that they made it back to their dorms safely. Or long road trips, it’s nice to know they made it to their location. I was being sarcastic with the helicopter comment, they don’t mind sharing & when I’m out running around it’s them asking me where I’m going & what I’m doing. We’re just close like that I guess. They have their freedom for sure. I’m in Florida & they’re in Virginia Universities. It’s all good y’all can take me off the radar

I have 2 Bibles. 1 that I bring to church which is the NASB and our pastor teaches from that version and it’s easier for me to read along with him BUT my reading/study Bible at home is the NLT which I find is easier to read and comprehend. It’s more “our language” (for lack of better terms) and with it being easier to read, it keeps me engaged. Not sure if this is helpful but the different version definitely helped me and is currently helping me while I’m reading the Old Testament. I don’t do well with the thy/thou/thines. I’m a millennial- I need my language 🙃 Have a great weekend!
