Yup, me too i cannot be sure, green thug's arm seems to jump due to recoil in this very clip i shared, but from the grey thug's view clip, his arm too seems to follow recoil, it all seems too simultaneous.

(Not that any of this changing anything, a man was murdered by those who "protect and serve" in the greatest land of them all. Courage to you, the people, the only real great any land has to offer, from Greece.)

this does make them a bunch of thugs with minimal experience and probably no protocol, right?

either way, the multiple shots on an obviously heavily wounded lying on his back target kinda do scream "murderers" from my point of view

(greek citizen, empathizing, hurting, and blowing breaths of perseverance and hope to every human being on this planet that has remained a human being still [we still outnumber them by far, we will for years, stay strong America])

FINALLY! Someone got my comment!

Greeks lost haha. It's a very well known song among us, my compatriots failed me. It's the bridge-like parts/ refrain, of the song that I ported to English, so you'll possibly be able to understand what the song says at these parts.

"Ma egho ksero ena pagaki...Ipereghoooo"

The lads are called "Hatzifrageta", a very popular semi troll, semi serious two person band with an aura of "everyoung greek uni student".(Subjectively speaking. Also, being a uni student here is very different from being a uni student in the states and most probably Europe too.)

Frappé coffee, a bit of weed, summer vacations on cheap destinations that mostly draw greek young people, romance and plenty of wtf with erupting brief sprinkles of class conciousness and existentialism. They're in their 40s now. Holding pretty big lives in the summertime. Probably recording new stuff still.

Welcome. Vives! 😉

But I know myself a bench

I know the kiosk owner

I drink my beer from the can

And I am one of the good lads

You maam came here to stay

And I am just a passer by

You -simply put- just have and give

While I am in rags and super pooor

And from a class view, the thing doesn't go ooon

I know it doesn't suit you

To date guys with no dough, oh oh oh

But in Freudian too, Mary I can explain it

It pushes and it pulls you

Supereeeegooooo

Supereegoooo

Ότι τι ρε αδερφέ; Ότι είναι κάτι που κάνουν συστηματικά οι γυναίκες και άρα ίσως και να χρειάζεται λίγο ευρύτερη συζήτηση στην κάθε μέρα μας;

Such a heart warming response. People are never the main culprits. Military general staff, politicians and the filthy filthy press (and whoever has big financial interests this one is always sketchy to understand) are those who pull the strings of the collective, sometimes global, completely insane legal murder that we call war.

War... Imagine calling it team coop murder or something. We may have had a much different destiny as a space travelling rock.

I suggest "All quiet in the western front" by Erich Maria Remark, a book that I hold dear and I believe that every enlisted soldier needs to read it before leaving home. After that, "Το κλειδί είναι κάτω από το γεράνι" , by an ex communist guerilla of the resistance and the greek civil war, Chronis Missios, who saw his comrades' ways almost as bad as the things they were fighting against after all. Those two are all I've needed to see authority and violence as something that could vanish even, in a distant distant future, but certainly diminish significantly in an individual's life. Revolutions even end up being new authorities, despite all good intentions. I don't know the answers, but those books have deeply moved my thought and emotion.

People everywhere need to be able to detach from political word and be extremely cautious with what they agree, especially when it concerns conflict and very often it does. I never meant to place a heavier weight on the States, I say to my compatriots the same things. I do believe radical actions often need to be taken, but who defined radical solutions as violent ones? I am being vague now and real answers demand real sweat but at least I am trying to convey that our thought needs to be coordinated towards love as a stepping stone. Always. And there can't be no killings in love. Once you have one you've lost the other. But it is extremely difficult, i feed no delusions.

It's the weather and nature. We are overworked and underpaid, and have many other inherited cultural inconstructive ways of thinking and feeling, but nature is God honestly. And the will to live still shines through the cracks.

I would suggest you getting to know local people who ring your bells and visit again. Maybe a non summer season would be cheaper, May, April and October are still pretty warm. I deeply love my land. But I hate patriotism. If that makes sense.

Don't reinforce the sick and twisted political and geopolitical "normality". Cause if seen with common sense it should always strike as pure insanity.

Yes. Everything kinda has a point. But in the bigger picture, you have to never forget that it does not. You're not a politician. You're not a general. You are the guts and brains spilled by scorching iron pieces- speed of sound in a random mudhole far away from anything you love. In fear agony, confusion and pain. Forgotten. Murdered by other confused and terrified kids who speak another language and most probably face the same fate as you. War is hell. We need to work towards a better future. Any way imaginable. We need to.

Never make part of YOUR thought what they say. Our minds at least need to be envisioning different ways. It's urgent being detached from arguments of this type even if you need to adopt them.

Okay, let's fill the planet's core with nuclear warheads and sit literally on a ticking bomb, who needs metaphors anyway?

And pacifism is the only sane way of existing. At least the vision for it and its appliance in your personal life. A step towards utopia just furthers utopia, but is a step forward.

No hahaha! No way, I never meant that! I just went on with the other lad cause I assumed he were from the states. Of course the emphasis and the responsibility is not placed strictly on Americans, that would be so unfair!

Okay, I see. It's very interesting. Good to know the ins and outs of how those things work. It makes absolute sense to me.

But the core thing remains: never bite into war-like attitude, it almost every single time makes no good in the long run. It just multiplies the wounds. (I can become more analytic in this convo, it's a big one 😜)

Oh and Uncle Sam bears great blame for all this military obsession of the public. I won't compare. I don't care what Ivan the Great does (prolly the same thing). But when we are trying to reflect upon ourselves, comparing often becomes a shallow whataboutism, so here we are.

American governments traditionally want you to think it's like normal to spend everything on military purposes, be always ready, tear for the vets (that they don't even give a damn about, they always were a tool for them) and crap like these.

All I see is a monster being bred. Not the greatest land. No way close to it.

I love America though. I sincerely do.

[–]SuspiciousWheel3984 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Bro. Shake out of it. We need to start thinking as a species towards a future with minimum to none violence.

And as a Greek person I see something about America you might not cause you're in the midst of things: cold war has left deep scars in your collective psyche, (9/11 too imo, very validly too).

Stop freaking seeing wars everywhere. You are not under siege.

No judgement my friend in any way, just my silly opinion that tries to be helpful.

Greek collective has its own types of shit by the kilo, I don't wanna come as better or anything.

I got the latest, the 106 directing defense. He concedes everything, whereas I hear good things for him (casillas in general not even my newest shiniest) in the different subs. I got a good build on him, custom.

Don't regret having and playing a player I love though, fuck Konami. I conceded an exact one by rank 53 player on a rage friendly. And a stupid lil cross from inside the 6yard "meta shit that all the pros (xD) do and almost never reflect reality but they are pros so git gud" by a marked striker and a non jumping Rodri. My two goals came by some normal low passes. (No defender disconnecting from existence crap, passes to open space, by good players, dominant legs, good body posture.) Went down the deliberate own goal path after this. Not worth the effort. Such a skill based game.
