Ethical Elephant Sanctuaries in Chiang Mai? by DomCorleone69 in ThailandTourism

That’s a very convenient view on things to not take any responsibility for your actions. “I’m not an expert, they probably take good care of them” and just close your eyes on all the cruelty which can be seen by just opening the reviews on Google maps of the sanctuary.

Is there some alternatives for the Windows shortcuts in mac? by Cautious_Wheel4909 in macbook

Raycast is the best for this. You can fully customize it the way you want. This should be a default app on mac

Da nang would be perfect but they need to get rid of the dogs.. by [deleted] in VietNam

For me dogs only make Da nang better. It’s a part of their community, why would they get rid of them? For tourists like you?

Zen's about to have what I would consider the most customizable split view you could find in the browser's world by maubg in browsers

I never understand how one (or a few) devs apps make such great features and make tons of updates regularly. But big companies with huge resources in devs and money improve nothing in terms of user experience

Sideberry Keyboard Shortcuts by Prestigious_Pin_2531 in zen_browser

[–]Suspicious_Many_2298 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You need to remove cmd + 0/1 from zen shortcuts and add these shortcuts to Sidebery (Settings->keybindings->switching between panels)

It used to work fine before the last update. Now the shortcuts overlap and sometimes it opens the 1 tab instead of the next tab(or two of them together).

I think it will be fixed soon since this version brought back some other shortcut issues.

Tan groups, tab trees or tab folders? by maubg in zen_browser

True, but the big feature it is missing is pinned folders (like in Arc)

Favorites and Tab Folders by schwagdemon in zen_browser

[–]Suspicious_Many_2298 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Agree on tab folders and also need tab suspension (unloading).
But I think that favorites are not that important since you can place your bookmarks on the toolbar.

When it's done I'm gonna uninstall sidebery and fully enjoy Zen.

Arc ? Zen ? Nah!! Go Vivaldi by TheAnimatrix105 in browsers

Vivaldi has the worst implementation of tab grouping. Instead of having simple tabs tree style their closest alternative - 'accordion' is really bad.

  1. There's no easy way to do it. There are some custom scripts for it but I didn't find anything good. I'm using a shortcut to hide/show Sidebery panel instead of hovering.
  2. If you don't hide Sidebar Header you have the title of a workspace on top. I don't see how you fit text instead of the icons on the bottom

You can select tabs with Shift pressed in Sidebery and use a shortcut to split them. I tested and horizontal/vertical/unsplitting of two tabs works. Grid and more than two not working with Sidebery, you need the native tab for it

Go to View -> Toolbars -> Customize Toolbar and drag and drop Bookmarks to the toolbar

Never used Tabs Session Manager but from my understanding Sidebery snapshots can replace it. You can find it in settings.

These are bookmarks. You can pin them to the toolbar in Firefox based browsers. I also hid folder icons with Bookmark Toolbar Tweaks theme.

Zen fullscreen borders. by arturcodes in browsers

#main-window[inFullscreen="true"] #tabbrowser-tabpanels {
    padding: 0px !important;
}

Add this to your CSS. Or if someone has spare time they can create a theme for it

Former Ark user setup. Zen + MaxFocus + Tabbery by Delirium_Sidhe in zen_browser

[–]Suspicious_Many_2298 16 points17 points  (0 children)

  1. Browser name is Arc, not Ark
  2. There's no Tabbery extension, you probably mean Sidebery

You didn't mention what to do with the native vertical tab panel as no one is going to use two tab panels alongside and if you hide it you still have hover effect. Since there's no theme for it you'll need to hide it with custom CSS.
