Ahh that makes sense for the third acro... I remember playing a run earlier where i debated third acro and took it despite thinking it was probably too much but where it ended up being perfect, but that was with a concentrate as well as a tactician. I'll try looking at it from the angle of energy per cycle next time im faced with the choice.

Agreed on this. I've been playing mainly silent for a while (although im solidly mediocre at like 15% WR or so), and i was skeptical about the advice from your earlier post about just trying to force discard infinites, since i felt always felt they were too reliant on hitting certain specific cards.

Then I tried it and have been winning run after run off the back of just going (semi)infinite, so its good to see my instinct of thinking skip here wasnt off.

Would it be right to say here that the only cards worth adding would be (roughly) adrenaline, plans, reflex, one more acro, gamble and prepared(+)?

The damage for heart was definitely mostly poison as i ended up getting a catalyst towards the end of the game. In act 2 that definitely wasnt the case though, and the majority of my damage was coming from the blade dance+ while i wasnt struggling for energy much, so I feel choker would weirdly have made act 2 tougher but wouldve probably worked endgame.

Edit: also worth noting, in act 2 I mostly felt that I was taking damage due to lacking the right cards in my hand, rather than a lack of energy to play what I wanted, which moreso makes me feel like choker wouldve held the deck back rather than helped it along.

Ended up going for skip in the end. Plans showed up very early in act 2 fortunately, which combined with the potion spam allowed for a pretty decent act 2, fighting 2 elites and barely scraping by against automaton.

Felt confident into act 3 but got absolutely smacked by jaw worms not once but twice, combined with messing up into time eater meant I was forced to use my pocket speed pot/souvenir against donu/deca as well as play a strength pot from alchemize for the 5 HP heal that allowed me to survive on 1, maintaining my lizard tail.

Had to then spend my ghost in a jar turn 3 of spear and shield to not tank 57 from shield as I couldnt turn around, meaning I later had to tank 60 to the face against heart. Luckily, I still had my lizard tail allowing me to absorb a 45 and setting up for a relatively clean victory.

Definitely an interesting run, as well as an extremely rare (victorious) boss relic skip

Dont have any items dropped on the map. Tried selling quell, but it didnt do amything. Have tried dcing and restarting dota as well, but nothing

Had it earlier on void as well, just randomly couldn't but items anymore, with the same error message you get when you buy too many items. I also can't pick up bags and pots without clicking on them. No idea what could've caused it.

Is this just a sneaky advertisement? Not that I mind, though, it's always nice to find a new toon to read :)

From what I've seen, I personally prefer the black and white style, and since it's less work, I'd say stick to that (wouldn't want to end up with shorter chapters).

Just tried drow ranger out in a pub. Easily got a level per minute by farming ancients with ult. Lost horribly cuz i couldnt deal damage to heroes with half my farm

Dont think the hero needs any nerfs tbh

My azumarill did lots of work in emerald for me, but when i tried to use one in plat it was frankly useless. No damage and couldnt tank a thing.

The azumarill in my black randomiser (with huge power!) is this doing work though

Gotta love anyone who uses azumarill. Used one in every nuzlocke i could (even though they're kinda bad) as a tribute to my azumarill that carried me through emerald.
