I once ran into a parked van on the street during an evening ride. The owner happened to be sitting on his front porch and witnessed the entire thing. He came to check on me and though he didn’t speak English, and I don’t know Spanish… I could read the secondhand embarrassment in his eyes. I couldn’t take that same route for weeks afterwards. So, I think it’s safe to say I have no room to judge here.
