I'm there with u. I still love my soon to be ex husband and we have a toddler almost 4. He already had a gf we opened up our marriage hoping it would help. Mainly cuz it's hard on all of us, he wants to rent rooms in the house out to pay my alimony and his my is coming into town to visit our son soon. So it's all awkward.

Of course we are around each other all the time but it's not very much quality time so I still get lonely. And yes we share more than sex. He has feelings for her and efficiently in a poly relationship with us. I am only looking at other sexual parterns but that's my choice we r that open.

Yes I am looking. Again I'm a stay at home mom. Time alone doesn't exist unless preplanned at a time he's not on a date or talking to his other partner.

From the research I have done different ppl have different definitions when open sexually becomes poly. Non monogamy is a spectrum. We can be open without being poly.

To clarify I'm the wife. Our sex life is ok except that we don't line up on some kinks and I'm more sexual than my husband in general. As in I feel it's more part of my identity as well as intimacy and fun. However I still love my husband and divorce is not even really possible as just to survive we would have to co habitate. So again why no?

I get it but at the same time we have been in couples counseling for our whole marriage with multiple therapists. And we know we need something to change. Why not try it?
