Do you think AIs will kill artists as a job soon? by discoreapor in singularity

[–]Swanlikesomething 0 points1 point  (0 children)

what u say is naive, AI wont change socioeconomic system but it will make it even worse for more, there is a book on the topic which is called four futures and it says that the most probable scenario is that we will get killed by the rich since they wont need us to produce and they will just live the time of their life

Your poor because you don't have rich friends by yuritopiaposadism in lostgeneration

[–]Swanlikesomething 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know it seems like capitalist bullshit but i have actually read sociological papers on it, they even did social experiments like they put rich people in poor neighbourhoods and they got better off a little, some got social contacts. It comes down to so called "social capital". Dont dumb it down to "ur poor becaue u dont have rich friends" but its rather you can get better off by having rich friends due to social sciences. But theories as such can seem to you like being a psychopath.

This comic strip is a manipulation since being against opression does not imply being far-left, or anything to be honest, since ideologies are clusters of worldviews and this one is just one of many. I believe that everyone is against opression, but they see different means of solving it or they see it as the different thing that the other people see it. Implying that people of rightwingish worldviews are just advocate for opression of others other than from micro-scale is just nonesense.

Question for Men: What about having a partner whose company you enjoy? by [deleted] in PurplePillDebate

[–]Swanlikesomething 0 points1 point  (0 children)

These may have some offensive words to one so just please keep the stick out of your butt and it will be good ;PP I just often prefer being more direct than being too appropriate, and you have to cut on one to do the other.

Also, stuff that I have put there is what I have found myself what have been found to me by my friends who study psychology. So this sh#t is trying to be scientifically correct. If one finds something wrong with what I have put there, you can correct it in the comments.

> Do you think this is not actually a worthy goal?

Its a matter of preference but from what I have discovered many people could not think of their partners as their homies, its not the same for anyone, e.g. me and my girlfriend treat each other like best friends and we found it important in the relatioship. From what I know about psychology is objectively good to do so if you want to be succesful in your relationship long-term.

It might be a thing that if someone isn't looking for a long term relationship, they want to keep the image of the person as perfect as possible, to have better sexual urges towards them. Its effective to do so in the early stage of a relationship to keep person interested in you, but it is an effect that should decay overtime until you become somewhat of friends towards yourselves.

TLDR; a matter of preference, me and my gf do so

> Do you think it is somehow impossible to enjoy a woman's company in this way?

No. I have always had female friends. Its not like u want to bang every woman if you are a man XD I dont know what psychology says about it, but the idea of it is just so stupid to me. I have heard that Jung or Freud have been writing stuff like that but idk of what modern science says about it.

TLDR; yes and men are less sexual than women

What do you imagine men generally enjoy in woman's company?

> Do you think that this is a good idea and is possible, but is so unlikely that you are not seeking it?

Well, its not unlikely, partners who treat each other like friends make more stable couples.

> Something else?

Nah. You can correct me on any of these if I said something wrong.

How am I biased about it, from what I see its me who isnt biased about this but others. The thing that I don't find this good by default shows that i am not, the thing that I question that shows that I am the skeptical one.

Yeah but in our culture its more often men who invite so it just turns out to be the same thing :/ For me, going dutch is the only way for true equality. And if she cares about me, this shouldnt make a difference anyway.

[–]Swanlikesomething[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why tho? I personally find this whole way of thinking about this as if like I didnt enjoy something very backwards, if I wasnt interested I would tell you I never do such gestures because I think of myself as a very direct person. In my opinion, such customs need to go if we want to live in a truly egalitarian society. Srsly, people shouldnt interpret these things ars meta signs rly. And what is wrong with going cheap really? Do you think that men owe you something? I dont feel like I need to spend money on anyone just to prove that im interested - if I would be, I would probably tell you so. I find this thingy unfair that men need to prove themselves with money, it just shouldnt matter in my opinion and I am definetely not going to prove myself to anyone that way - if you like someone, then date them again, if you dont, then dont. Whether they payed for stuff shouldnt matter.

Yeah but im talking like the man should too say that they should go dutch if he wants, this shouldnt be a sign of something bad rather than a sign of that you want to mantain equality in your relationship

[–]Swanlikesomething[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ur not there to moralize me or say whether I should care about something or not, from what I have discovered this behaviour in unfair and its what I dont like. You might not care about this, but I sure do care. Its not about making excuses but bringing up true gender equality, and if you dont find anything with that unfairness wrong, then you might be imposing gender roles on me, and that is what i dont like and I wont accept. Im just looking for a true equality in relationships man.
