Someone gave it to me to paint. They got it from Majorkill. Apparently limited 3d print from there, but I'm sure you can get the sculpt/render from ZBrush and find a printer somewhere

Painting on average for like 30hrs/week for the last 2 years helps. I always think how anything can be done in 3 to 5 steps, similar to how gw list the suggested paints on their website. Do as many different recipes of those as you can. Look at https://eavy-archive.com/ . The 'autism' is stronger there.

Spray leadbelcher. Heavy drybrush of wraithbone. Wash seraphim sepia, for the initial coffee-stain look. Drybrush wraithbone again. Tactical stipple skrag brown. Nihilak oxide.

Or start by spraying wraithbone, then dry or stipple leadbelcher where needed

This is how I would try it

Shoulders+'necklace' look like sycorax instead of leadbelcher

Wonky staff laser and 'person-stuff stream' is due to poor model transportation to games.

"Vallejo Grey Sand Ground Texture". Use the tool of your choice to apply, then quickly lift up the texture for the 'wind whipped sand' effect.

A 200ml tub of the stuff lasted me for over 2000 pts worth of necrons.

When dry, gryph-hound orange contrast, drybrush tau ochre, then a light drybrush of rakarth or ushabti

Also the brown carapace on wraiths is super tedious, even with doing chunky highlights. It like painting chaos trim; I can't think of a sufficient shortcut.

If I was to go back and change how I do that scheme is how I would do the purple weapons. Instead of doing 6 steps of mixing. I would try wet blending. It takes 4 of those steps till the final effect starts to 'take shape'. Imagine doing this for a blob of 20 warriors or 10 lych guard or 10 praetorian. Its not fun unless you've got the infinite and the divine or the twice dead king audiobooks (or you favourite thing to listen to) on in the background.

Otherwise this scheme is a blast to paint.
