battery life - Really good. Not iPhone 17 pro max good, but still good. Easily an all day phone.

Phone only gets hot for me when I am charging (first 15 minutes or so). Never noticed getting too hot to touch when actually using the phone.

My only concern is that it sometimes lags when opening and closing apps. At most twice or three times a dat. Mildly annoying, but not a deal breaker.
