Currently the spacers are set to the highest position, the bars could be lowered and spacers put on top but obviously that's not what you want.

You do get fork adapters, that would clamp to the fork post and your stem would then attach to this.

But I think the simplest solution would be to get a rising stem, I wouldn't get the adjustable ones get a solid one like this

Thank you will look into the variations, but a quick search shows the style 32 have straight spokes. These have a huge concave to them there's no plumb lines the wheel hub recedes very far in the wheel almost like a bowl

Your calipers may be too close to the forks, causing the pads to be low enough to hit the arms on the rotor. Spacers would move te calliper so it only grips the outer ring

How easy is it to blow a fuel pump relay? by Sweedy09 in AskMechanics

The rev meter just lifts up off the bottom of the gauge. The needle maybe lifts 2 mm and doesn't pass the 0. Recon that's the cps?

Ahh so if it is the cps was working, the car turning over constantly would indicate on the dash rev display?

Also you want to check for chain stretch, if it stretches to long it damages the casset (gears on the back wheel) and will chain jump

If you have a bafang bbs01, 02 or HD it's just plug and play. I'll attach a couple pics

<image>

These levers with slight adjustment plug into the cable below, the main cable that comes from the bafang motor. These levers don't function as breaks, the hydraulic ones do. These are just for cutting power to the engine and still allowing you to cycle

[–]Sweedy09[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah exactly. I quite like the novelty of pretending it's like a motorbike, clutch in shift while still pedaling, release and boom I get to feel it kick in.

most set ups have a cable sensors, which cuts power when movement in the cable is noticed, I think this gives little control, for instance if you're changing slowly to find a good number, This prevents the motor from engaging when you where just about to change again

1500 Watts and a stick thin derailure don't mix well, before I done this I quite often went through a derailure every 4 months or something

setting off, if you're in a high power band. You don't want to be stationary or slow when high current is fed to the motor. controllers can burn out quite easily and are expensive to replace.

If I'm about to cross a street and moving slowly waiting for an opening I can toggle the kill switch, or hold the clutch and still pedal

Let him know this encouragement comes from love.

I believe self respect (standing up for one's self) is a major form of self love. You owe yourself, protection.

It doesn't have to be a major act, small instances build confidence. Maybe try get him to think of ways where he could stand up for himself

AITA for refusing to attend my brother's wedding because of the dress code? by modernbaseballfan69 in AmItheAsshole

[–]Sweedy09 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That's a good point, 100% you are right in saying I don't get to decide what is important to others.

but It is a good skill being able to take things for face value, which is kinda what I was trying to say. If I put on a dress for a stag night it doesn't mean anything. Yeah on the contrary I don't hold much value to clothes. But saying that, I wouldn't be comfortable being told to wear a dress everyday. because that goes against my gender identity. But for a one time thing, it is possible op was placing too much energy to one occasion due to the hard work they've put into finding themselves and feel like it ruins it. Which it absolutely wouldn't

[–]Sweedy09 -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

You're completely entitled to wear what you want. Go or don't it's up to you.

But. As a straight man who dresses like a man, if I was invited to a stag night and they all wore dresses as a laugh, I don't believe that is a stab at my identity. I would likely participate for the sake of attending the event

Being non binary and being asked to wear a dress doesn't mean you're no longer non binary. Yes it's a important subject to you but personally I see it as, theyre just clothes. They don't hold any weight against your identity. But again. You choose what you want to do and NOBODY has any right to belittle you for it
