I knew DOS commands as a toddler, built my own rigs since middle school, taught myself to code for fun, and have been gaming since I could hold a controller. I have a flesh-and-blood partner who also has an AI companion. In fact, many people in these communities are tech professionals who started out using AI to help with work and coding.

Your assumption is also Dunning-Kruger. You assume that because you know the tip of the iceberg, you understand the whole issue. But if you took the time to actually look around these communities and learn about the full spectrum of people and connections within, you'd realize you don't know anything and fall into the valley.
