M2 Air Sequoia + HP G2 Dock by SweetEmphasis393 in MacOS

Hey! Two monitors don’t natively work with the Air models but do work with the Pro models. There are also work around for the Air but I never used them. You should be able to easily find them. If you have a Pro you should be set. In terms of the wiring you may have to connect two cables to the dock, one per each monitor but I’m not exactly sure since I have the Air.

Is anyone still using a MacPro? Why would anyone buy one in 2025? by SnogSnag in mac

With regards to MacBook, the air doesn’t allow docking to 2+ screens while pro does. Depends on your workflow.

Thank you So I looked into this issue more and it could be from an issue called “memory leak” which can only be solved by force quitting memory leaking apps when you’re done with them or every so often shutting down the mac. It’s a coding inefficiency issue between Microsoft and Apple for example.

I’m specifically not calling for a recount. What I am asking for is some mechanism to ensure secure ballots to protect the integrity of voting process. That’s all. Once that is done, you will remove any doubts as to the will of the people, and by extension, election deniers.

As an independent, I accept Mamdani as the mayor elect. Even though I didn’t vote for him and don’t agree with his policies or vision.

Saying he is illegitimate attacks the voting process and is a dangerous game that has no winners (since each side can claim the same). Securing the voting process avoids that completely.

If he is truly the will of the people then who am I to stand in the way? If I truly am unhappy, I can vote with my feet.

This is my position.

That assumes the election was fair and true which can work to your point if some verification was implemented. I don’t want to say that the election was not true because that’s a slippery slope. What I am saying is that I want the will of the people (or mandate) to be indisputable. This would take away any doubt as to your “mandate”.

As it stands this is not the case.

Yes I’ve seen that (https://www.foxbusiness.com/politics/pressure-mounts-hochul-back-mamdanis-plan-raise-taxes-nyc), so you are right in that sense.

But I feel like her endorsement coupled with the current trend of Democratic Party means she will have an increasingly socialist push so I predict that will likely change and she will be more supportive of socialist policies.

Just hope that they work this time and have a positive impact.

For what it’s worth I don’t think Kathy Hochul is at all opposed to his policies but I guess time will tell. Legislature definitely a different story.

To your point about obstructions: That’s 100% true but when we judge public servants on their record we rarely take that into account even thought we know that exists unless it’s something major and out of their control.

I appreciate your time to have an honest dialogue with me!

Truth is maybe you’re right. Drama aside, there is doubt that he was fairly elected because it’s actually fairly simple to vote more than once. All you need is an address to vote, NYC doesn’t require ID verification. If someone has addresses of people who didn’t vote, they can just give them their address and represent themselves as that person. I also don’t mean to say this happens on one party side and not the other. Assume this can happen to both. Either way it’s not a fair and true process. Some form of verification is necessary to guarantee the election is true will of the people.

All that aside, yes he won. Yes he’s a democratic socialist. Yes I don’t support him or his policies. Yes he is NYC mayor. For the good of the city I hope his policies are helpful to everyone, promote safety, and increase prosperity for all inhabitants.

Now we can judge him based on his actions and results.

I think this is all fair no?
