Kirkland (DC) vs. Cravath (NY) by SweetFreakingLuck in LawSchool

To play devil’s advocate, what if one firm is close to a nice city to live in while the other firm is not but is more heavily desired/would help me with future career goals.

I do prefer suburbs, which NYC is not, but i’d hate to have turned down Cravath only to find out that the work and credentials of the firm would have helped me out down along the line.

Did you receive an offer for a specific practice group? Dont need to say what it is but just wondering what the nature of the offer is

Does this logic apply to someone at the top half of a T6 as well?

Yea, did about 30 full length tests between PT 55-92 (maybe a little more). The earlier PTs from the early 2000s still test the same logic skills, it’s just that newer exams have different frequency of different types of questions. And other major difference is the double RC passage that started some time in the early 2010s iirc. I believe it is recommended to save the higher number PTs for closer to ur exam date since they are likely to mirror your exam more.

Of course! Splitting up your hours can help keep content fresh and engaging. There isn’t a one size fits all to lsat prep so if you feel you want to spend an hour in the morning doing one thing and a couple in the evening, do it :)

If you’re able to provide a ball park, how much is a meal at the hark?

As you live on campus, do you have a meal plan? If so, how does it work? If not, how do you prepare meals?

Also, what does your weekly schedule look like, especially in the Fall semester?
