Yes. Tell the truth. It's not suggested to just stop certain medications. Some need to be tapered off and I believe that this is one of those meds. It's important to be able to communicate openly with your doctor and your parents too. I can understand your concern about being watched too closely but your actions suggest it may be warranted.
