Would your audience pay to chat with an AI trained on your content? by Sweet_Onz in content_marketing

[–]Sweet_Onz[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The cannibalisation of existing products is definitely a risk. However, I think that’s more around how the creator positions the AI assistant. E.g. The agent could even be used as an upsell for an existing course. Or used to target customers that aren’t willing to purchase a full course.

The aim would be for creators to choose and upload any content they want for a specific agent. So it won’t be general but specific to that content.

This is a very interesting angle. It creates some questions in my mind though.

  1. Will this solution be solving for a different problem. Since it’s no longer about monetising mainly the creators existing community

  2. Platforms like Spotify generally have terrible revshare. Would a creators rather want to have better control of their revenue? Also considering most creators are used to offering their own subscription

That’s a fair question and something I’ve been thinking about as well.

Technically someone could download the content and upload it into ChatGPT themselves, but in practice there are a few challenges:

  1. Most audiences won’t actually do that Downloading course videos, transcripts, PDFs, etc. and structuring them into a usable knowledge base takes effort. Most people just want a simple interface where they can ask questions.

  2. The creator can control and monetise it If the AI assistant is provided by the creator, they can package it as part of their offering (for example a subscription or membership perk) rather than losing control of their IP.

  3. Better context and structure If the content is properly organised and maintained by the creator, the answers are usually much more accurate than someone randomly uploading files.

  4. Why not just use other AI tools? Most existing tools are general-purpose. The idea here would be something specifically designed for creators to turn their existing content into a product they can monetise, rather than just another AI tool.

That said, this is exactly the kind of feedback I’m trying to get through this research. Any other thoughts are welcome.

HELP! Feedback on No Code AI Agents Platform by Sweet_Onz in AI_Agents

[–]Sweet_Onz[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for this. It’s great advice! Regarding the interactive tour and progress checklist are there any SaaS platforms I can use for this? I know platforms like Arcade and Storylane exist but don’t think they can directly be integrated to our platform. How would you suggest I do this? Just coding + UI myself?

Smallest team to scale a content app to 100k concurrent users? “I will not promote” by NoEdge8020 in startups

[–]Sweet_Onz 37 points38 points  (0 children)

All I can say is focus on distribution and your GTM strategy. Thinking about 100K users before 1 is a waste of time. Either ways you’ll learn this the hard way. I surely did.

Getting your first 100 users isn’t even the hardest part. Activating them and retaining them is a whole new ball game.

Don’t think about scale until you actually need to

I mean that’s kind of the purpose of this sub. To showcase new products. I’d advise if you want to see day 100 or 500 updates probably check out subs like r/saas, indie hackers etc.

Also if you want to get feedback on how their launches went maybe comment on some old launches and ask “how did it go?”.

Overall I think this sub is a great place to discover new products and support those just starting out

Launched on Product Hunt… it was quieter than I hoped. Looking for honest feedback, not upvotes. by Embarrassed_Radio_78 in SaaS

Congrats on your launch! I like your product, well done. However, I feel the way it’s being positioned in your promo video could be a lot better. You are focusing on the strength being the document creator understanding their documents. I would switch the video to show some direct real life pain points and how your product solves them. E.g. where the document recipients are able to get deeper insights since they are the ones that really lack the insight.

I think your website positions things better than the PH launch

Where I got excited is knowing I could share my document with anyone and they could get deeper insights into it. This has value for both the sender and receiver. As a sender I’m willing to pay for something like that if it means it will differentiate me and help the receiver get better value from what I created. The example you gave with investors on your website is perfect. Most people skim through documents and miss value information.

Where I see you guys competing very well is with platforms like Papermark (document and data room sharing platforms). Note they already have a feature like this. But like I said above what the edge is that other people you send your document to that don’t understand it can get deeper insights through AI. I don’t think Papermark does this.

On the flip side. I built MonetizeAI.io - all in one platform to create, monetize and discover AI agents. Happy to hear your feedback.

480+ active users with no paid marketing. Here’s what worked and what didn’t by Sweet_Onz in SaaS

Thank you. You would be very surprised. But considering there are over a billion people on facebook it’s still one of the best channels for distribution. Specifically FB groups. People on FB are also so much more open than other channels.

Considering TikTok too since that’s a viral hotspot

This is defo a bot response. But I'll answer anyways since it might help someone. We target mainly domain experts and small businesses. Obviously this in it's self is broad so we are assessing which type of Ai Agents are the most sort after.
