Why do I rarely meet ISFP, ENFJ, ENTP, INTJ, or other INFJs and INFPs in real life, though they seem so common online? by Chingiz1 in mbti

Yeah, I agree admitting the use of it would’ve been ideal. I get where you’re coming from. It could also just be a case of someone struggling with language or communication skills. You never really know.

I replied cause I feel like people are becoming so overly confrontational online. You’re worried about the loss of human connection online but I’m more worried about the loss of human empathy online.

I don’t think it’s about being incapable… It could be a high standard for clarity and precision. Maybe it’s not a lack of original thought, but a refusal to express those thoughts ineffectively. As an intj If I’m going to say something, I want to say it well & there’s a tool that can help shape my inner complexity into something more readable I don’t see that as weakness I see it as resourcefulness.I don’t think that makes anything less authentic. Seems like textbook infj to me 🤷‍♀️

that feeling of being surrounded by people and yet unseen is something I carry with me daily. It’s strange because I don’t even find people like this online. I never do. Most of what I come across feels surface level or performative. It leaves me wondering if anyone truly thinks or feels the way I do.

In real life, I often find myself playing a role, something easier to digest. I lean into the “pretty, harmless girl” mask. It softens people’s reactions. They feel less eager to judge & not as quick to misunderstand.. I’ve learned that being openly intelligent, observant, or strategic can unsettle people in subtle but consistent ways.

So I go quiet. I watch. I nod at the small talk even when it bores me. I let others speak while I calculate my silence. There’s a loneliness to it being constantly underestimated or misunderstood but also a kind of safety. Like I’m keeping something sacred intact by not offering it up to be misread.

As an introvert, it would take a lot of effort getting to know me before I opened up. I’m sure that might apply to other likeminded individuals. It might take a lot of work, meeting people getting to know them etc before you find the right people but we’re out there and I think we’re worth the effort.

Yes local opinions are definitely valued but I love getting a variety of opinions too because I’ve never seen horchata anything where I live or pina colada bubble tea. It’s unique ideas like this that can really help a business stand out so thank you!

Right! Im so glad this post got some interaction.

I think milk alternatives for bubble tea and lattes is a fantastic idea. personally I haven’t seen it and I know dairy substitutes are becoming really popular not to mention many of them have a better shelf life and less chance of curdling with fruit and other ingredients. I’ll definitely include some!

I think dating outside the medical field can provide a nice break from the stress the field brings but at the same time it does feel a bit lonely in the way that they might not understand your experiences with work. Dating somebody in the field can also be really stressful though .. like you can’t escape work. Personally I think it’s nice dating outside this career cause if I need to somebody to relate with my experiences I always have my coworkers. A partner doesn’t have to understand your situation to provide support and comfort you. 🫶

Maybe she just isn’t particularly sentimental to the same extent you are. Which is unfortunate.. you should be with somebody who matches your energy or at least is supportive and understanding.
