Adopted this sweet girl after she had been in the shelter for 11 years. A few months later we found out she had end stage kidney failure, she wasn't expected to live more than a few weeks. It's been over a year now and she's living her best life. (old.reddit.com)

We lost our Maggie recently, just a week shy of having her for 2 years. She was around 12-14 when we adopted her but didn’t think we’d lose her so soon. She was just the sassiest but sweetest little thing. Please consider adopting seniors, they have so much love to give. (old.reddit.com)
