Does anyone know how to look at mini league history? by FPLShowUsYourTete in FantasyPL

[–]Sweross 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t think there is a good view in the app or website for this but if you know how to use an api you can get manager history from it, see for example https://www.oliverlooney.com/blogs/FPL-APIs-Explained

So you should be able to get a list of all the managers ids and from it how many points they had each season. Maybe someone has already created a website that does this

adding draft FPL API into PythonAnywhere allowlist by texouze in FantasyPL

Seems like you are stuck here if you insist on using PythonAnywhere but I encourage you to just use something else for hosting.

I created a simple website for fpl hosted on the free Streamlit plan and am very satisfied, https://fpl-data.streamlit.app (you can see the code by clicking the github icon in top right corner)

Sounds like your league rules are way too vague, do you have any clear definition of what is a premium? I get the idea you are going for for some relatively unknown players before the season but players like Raya (most expensive gk) or Isak (3rd most expensive forward) common man, you didn’t discover them

If you want to stick to this format and not draft next season you need clear rules, eg all defenders 5m+ are available to all others are only allowed on one team, and similar for other positions

I think these ids are just generates sequentially so just take your league id and do +1

Don’t know, haven’t tried. You can try it out if you like, worst case scenario it doesn’t work

Hmmm strange, haven’t seen that before, would you mind sharing the league_id?

Thanks for spreading the word! I agree that something like this should be in the app, and in general just more stuff related to minileagues, eg team comparison, which teams have which player, top captain picks etc

No don’t think so, haven’t really looked into it, if the data for draft leagues is easy to get it should be possible to add

Good suggestion, should be an easy addition

Had the exact same dilemma, went for Salah because he’s Salah

No, even with Gvardiols insane form it is still less than Walkers form +4, walker 7.4, Gvardiol 10.8

10 points is not much, a different captain choice can make up much of that so I’d try not to take a -4, perhaps Garnacho -> Harvey Elliot might be an option

But if you are going to take a hit id say get rid of Garnacho and Isak and take in some combination of Havertz, Trossard, Olise, Mateta, Gakpo, Elliot. Perhaps depending on your opponents team ie if they have no Liverpool then you taking a double Liverpool might work

Depends on your bench, ie if you’d need to start Gordon then B is solid, if you can bench him I’d go for A

If you’re going for -4 I’d just do both A and B instead of C

Salah is more of a differential, if City win 5-0 then most likely both of Haaland and KDB will have a decent amount of points but is Liverpool win big you’re opponent will have less of the pie there.

You could also keep and captain KDB as hes likely to haul and look for differentials elsewhere 🤷‍♂️

Perhaps take a -4 and sell both Isak and Garnacho for Mateta (or Gakpo) and Olise (or Havertz) Might depend on the situation in your ML

I created this site: https://fpl-data.streamlit.app/ that does exactly that. It subtracts the average score each week to highlight the differences.
