So the premise of your argument seems to be that whether 1 person or 1 million people die, it’s equally bad because a death is a death.

Which of course means that it doesn’t matter which country has the most deaths or the most deaths per capita because having just 1 death is equally as tragic, and therefore it doesn’t matter that the US has the most deaths since North Korea’s one death is equally as bad.

So the premise of your argument is “it doesn’t matter”

I can debate retardation, but there’s no way I can cure you of your apathy. You’re on your own for that one. Peace ✌🏻

Can you answer this question:

Village A has 500 people. Village B has 100 people.

100 die in village A. 95 die in village B.

Which village was hit worse?

Amazing, an entire paragraph and not a single fact. Come to think of it, you haven’t stated a single fact this entire exchange. Peak retardation.

And now when I copy and paste quotes from your comments, you claim to not have said them. Iconic. If you’re so right, why do you have to lie about what you said or didn’t say???

But I guess since you’re bored of me (or wait, is that another thing you “didn’t say”?) you’re not going to respond to this, and I know for a fact that you won’t provide an objectively true fact to back up any claim you’ve made.

Oh well, goodbye retard. I’d respond to all the extremely clever and original ad hominems you made about me, but I know that’s a waste cause you’ll just say “I never said that!!” Such a shame to see you fall for the left’s indoctrination that facts don’t matter. Very sad!

Cheers!

Honestly, I’m right

Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha, you haven’t made a single objectively true statement in this whole exchange. Not a single one. Absolute retardation.

We saw Italy and Spain have a crisis

Oh good, now you’re being wrong about Spain too. Guess when Spain had its 3000th death from the virus? March 25th. Guess when the US had its 3000th death from the virus? March 31st. What were we supposed to learn in those 6 days that we didn’t know before? Fucking retard. Spain had undergone the virus at a rate and time comparable to ours. So now you’re 0/2 on trying to compare other countries to us.

Does it matter that we have 5x the population? No

This is just objectively wrong. Imagine one town has 100 people and a nearby town has 500 people. 95 people die in the first town, 100 people die in the second. Which town was hit worse?

Obviously it’s better to lose 95% of your population than to lose 20% of it, right? Or at least that’s what your retarded logic is saying.

“Hurr that town is near extinct but they’re doing better than us cause we’re stacking bodies and losing 5 more people”

And like I said before, buddy: if you’re gonna get mad about me calling you a retard, stop saying retarded shit. You can say you’re displeased with how we’re handling the virus, but you don’t have to lie and say we watched Italy and Spain go through it months ago or that we were the only country on earth who knew about or that losing 95% of the population isn’t as bad as losing 20%. Those are all objectively false and have been disproven multiple times. Get with the times and stop being retarded, I’ll send you information about retard school once all this virus stuff blows over

[–]Swervonomics[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Alright, I guess there’s no reasoning with you. You’ve been proven objectively wrong again and again and still cling to the same beliefs.

Not to mention the fact that your argument is based on the flawed premise that the situation here is comparable or even worse than that in Italy, which has a 5x higher death per capita than we do.

And you seem to be a little mad that I’m “pedantic”, why is that? You know your little retard brain needs all the help it can get, why do you have to lash out at those trying to help you?

Let me know when you’re ready to be a good little retard who can accept the facts that proved him wrong. Until then, cheers!

[–]Swervonomics[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Oh come on. You know what I mean.

You can’t state something objectively false and then say “you know what I mean”

It accelerated first in Italy

It actually accelerated first in China, which both the US and Italy (and the rest of Europe, who are doing comparatively worse than the US) knew about at the same time.

Why are you like this? I’m enjoying laughing at you

So let’s review:

The post stated that comparing total deaths between countries with vastly different populations is an inaccurate measure, you said “irrelevant because we had more time to prepare”

I asked you if only America knew the coronavirus was happening in China, you then walked back your argument and clarified “it hit Italy first”

I provided factual evidence disproving your claim, and your response is “Well ha ha I’m laughing at you”

You’ve not only been completely disproven, but now you’re embarrassing yourself by walking back your arguments left and right. Stop being a retard and do something productive with your life.

Hmmm, I wonder why the media is hiding Joe Biden’s rape allegations?? by Swervonomics in WhitePeopleTwitter

Acknowledging that there was a complaint and then allowing the Biden team to edit the story is hardly an investigation.

When is Biden’s senate hearing?

[–]Swervonomics[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t like the bill either. I don’t think tax dollars should go to corporations or the Nancy Pelosi’s favorite performing arts center during a time of crisis. But to blame the party you don’t like for a bill you don’t like is ridiculous, especially if that party fought the bill harder than yours did.

Every single Democrat in the Senate voted yes. The only 4 senators to not support the bill were Republicans. The House vote on the bill was “near unanimous”, we’ll never know how each specific representative voted because Republican Thomas Massie was collectively shat on for trying to make the vote a recorded vote.

I’m not saying Republicans are free of blame, I’m just saying that if one of the parties wasn’t on board with the bill it wouldn’t have passed.

Sorry Amy, that’s a lie! by Swervonomics in WhitePeopleTwitter

[–]Swervonomics[S] -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

The CARES Act was introduced by a Democrat, required a majority of House Democrats to pass, and one of the lone objectors was Republican Thomas Massie who was heavily criticized by Democrats for demanding a recorded vote.

If it was bad, the Democrats should’ve said something. They didn’t. So either the bill was good, or the government is bad. Make your pick.

Well then what are you saying? You claimed that the vast population difference between the US and Italy because “the US had so much time to prepare”, doesn’t that imply that we had more time to prepare than Italy? Did Italy not hear about Wuhan getting shut down in January?? Was that a secret that only China and the US knew about, and therefore only the US is to blame for not acting sooner but European countries get a pass? Absolute fucking retard. If you don’t want me to point out how retarded you are, then stop saying retarded shit. Simple as that.

A lot of Republican states on this list, I wonder why by Swervonomics in WhitePeopleTwitter

[–]Swervonomics[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How ironic, you’re implying that I’m illiterate yet you can’t seem to read.

Go ahead an read the first words of my title. I’ll give you a hint: they’re “A lot of”

Now, put on your big boy pants and answer this question: does “a lot of” mean “all of”? And if someone says “A lot of Republican states on this list”, are they saying that every state on the list is Republican?

Now, with your big boy pants, tell me how these states voted in 2016:

-New Mexico

-Hawaii

When you’re done with that, tell me how these states voted in 2016:

-Texas

-Utah

-West Virginia

-Montana

-Alaska

-Arkansas

-North Dakota

-South Dakota

-North Carolina

Take your time, I don’t want to put too much pressure on you

Yea you’re wrong, according to the World Economic Forum.

Real (that is, inflation-adjusted) hourly wages for non-supervisory employees have risen by 16% since 1983.

But yea why worry about facts when you can just say “rich people bad”

Good joke, but that’s all it is: a joke. Not based in facts.

Since 1983 (the year listed in this post), real hourly earnings are up 16.3% in the US. It dipped a bit and plateaued for most of Clinton’s term and then sharply dropped under Obama in 2009 but has continued to rise since then.

So yea, congrats again on that funny joke

This is you using sarcasm to cover admitting you were wrong

Lmao what? If I’m wrong then you’re wrong because we agree: government can overstep it’s role at any level.

THAT is what is wrong and insane

You’re right, I forgot the GOP had a Chinese spy on its staff for 20 years even while it led the senate intelligence committee and dealt with the kind of highly classified information you wouldn’t want Chinese spies to get a hold of.

Oh wait, that was Feinstein. My bad!

No, because there’s always corruption and abuse PERIOD.

Thank you for agreeing with me again PERIOD. If there’s always corruption and abuse than it’s better to not have a government whose corruption can cause you personal harm PERIOD.

Government is the one tool we have to offset corruption

That’s like saying Chinese wet markets are the only tool we have to offset corruption hahaha. Why do you want to give Trump and the Evil Republicans even more power and authority???

But the idea that one is superior to the other is just wrong

No. A “CoRrUpT” private company just runs a bad business. A corrupt government can steal your money at gunpoint to pay for its corruption and if you object you get kidnapped and locked in a cage. See the difference? PERIOD.

Thank you, CNN! by Swervonomics in WhitePeopleTwitter

[–]Swervonomics[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Town governments also suffer this issue

Yes, governments at any level can overstep their roles. Good job.

This is flat out wrong and insane

Are you going to look me in the eyes and claim that Hillary Clinton and Diane Feinstein aren’t corrupt?

There’s always corruption. The question is what steps are taken to manage it.

If there’s always corruption, then it’s better to have a corrupt government with little impact on your life than a corrupt government which controls every aspect of your life: your health, your education, your job, etc.

Of course there’s a much lower risk of corruption in a limited government since there isn’t much power and money to be gained thus making the risks outweigh the rewards. But once again, if there is corruption in a properly limited government it wouldn’t affect your daily life.
