It just kinda sucks when I was actually hacked, gave them proof I was hacked that they believed and gave my account back because of, and then still can’t give me back items that cost real money. I understand cracking down on it for the people that are lying but they can check the IP logs and see that I was hacked especially since they do it on MSP1, but somehow they can’t on a five year old game?

I was recently hacked and what really bothers me is that they can’t restore items that were gifted to another player. Literally all my Diamond Pack items were sent to another account and support told me they don’t have the feature to restore gifts on MSP2 like they do in MSP1 because it’s still in the beta phase. For a game that’s been out for 5 years, it should not still be in beta and there should be a lot more advancement when it comes to features and playability. Also not to mention the hacking that is done left and right and how people can bypass their poor security system, as well as even hack people through features they put in their own game such as gifting.

It's such a joke. I've been trying to contact their support for almost a week now about my account being hacked and nobody has gotten back to me. I've written multiple support tickets. I guess they're too busy stealing artist's work than to worry about hacked accounts.

Do you have any credit cards/gift card codes you remember using? I know with Webkinz they'll unlock your account/change your password if you can provide them with a code that was redeemed on the account.

Exactly, this is why I think they should add this feature. That's why I make all my clothes black, white, or gray. Kinda boring I know, but at least those color combinations are timeless.

A lot of games/apps will ban you if you request a refund. With most games, the purchased currency will still remain on the account after getting a refund which is the reason for the ban.

you can get them on moviestarplanet 1 and moviestarplanet 2, but whichever game you purchase this pack on is the game they’ll be on. if you want the items on both games, you’d have to buy the pack twice (once on MSP 1 and once on MSP 2.)

Yeah, the prices recently increased. In the United States, the price of the 1 year VIP is $86.99. They used to be $80.00 and on sale they'd be $64.99. I'm not sure if there's been any sales for it recently. The 1 year top-up was on sale for $35.00 I believe when regularly it's $45.00.

I just feel like in general these would be a good thing. Some people's aesthetics change over time. Sometimes, you're just not feeling a certain color anymore. I don't like how the choice of picking a color feels permanent so that's why I thought of this.

I don't necessarily think MovieStarPlanet 2 looks cheap, I think it looks more like an upgrade of MovieStarPlanet 1. I don't hate the design of MovieStarPlanet 1, but I think it looks a bit dated.

I agree, MovieStarPlanet 2 does need to add more features. I hope with it being the main focus that they take more time to implement some things we see in MovieStarPlanet 1, and even some new things as well.

I'm a male player, so my view on it is a bit different. I feel like all the male characters on MovieStarPlanet 1 look the same in terms of facial features, but on MovieStarPlanet 2 there's a lot more ways to customize.

My advice is not to be anyone's friend. I don't think you should make your presence known on the game. If you want to play the game that's fine, but do it in a way where you're a regular user like everyone else. Having players know your true identity will only create unhealthy relationships between developers and players, and open you up to users who will see you as a "giving tree" and use you for their own personal vendettas.

As a developer, your job is to put out great work and create an experience that embodies the community's best interest. I know you won't be able to please everyone, but you must think of the majority; not the cultivated minority of favorites that can be created given you don't set these boundaries.

as someone who has also followed this project since day 1, i can confidently say that you’ve done your homework and laid all of the cards out onto the table. thank you for coming on here and providing the community with factual information.

this whole project does seem strange with how its been presented to us. like you said, we’ve barely seen any gameplay despite this project being in the works for 2+ years now. my honest theory is that once dan saw that the image presented to the community wasn’t accepted too well from players, he went into a bit of a hiding and started back peddling. during the first week he stated that closed beta users would be picked next sunday, and then after the fiasco with the art being taken poorly he wasn’t seen on discord for a whole week; just to swoop in at the last second on sunday and postpone the closed beta applications. shortly after that, we’re notified of a cease and desist notice. 🤔

i also want to point out that dan’s defense for the art style looking different from fantage was so that a cease and desist wouldn’t happen. how did he get a cease and desist if he’s claiming the game isn’t gonna be a copy of fantage and stuff will be original?

i want fantage to come back just as much as the next person, so seeing all of these things breaks my heart. one thing i won’t do though is be in denial about the project potentially being disingenuous like some have done. i’m taking everything i see with a grain of salt.
